I don’t think Ai’s actions were weird. He seems to be very affected by what other’s think of him. He feels judged by his parents, by his friends, by any older person such as San’s grandma. So all this time he has been uncomfortable showing how he feels about San, because everyone was watching.
But as soon as they were alone together, he could feel free to express how he really feels.

And maybe he feels the need to move fast so they can enjoy some time together before he leaves the country…?

I hope he goes to Japan, because I am sure San will wait for him.

I didn’t like it much at first and it is quite slow burn, but after a few episodes I like it a lot 😊

The emotions in the flashback scene were extremely moving. Probably one of my favorites from Strongberry, and that’s saying a lot.

I found this film quite interesting and touching as well as a realistic portrayal of life.
It is a bit strange to be found under the BL tag on Viki as it does not quite fit the genre and is more general queer storytelling.

This is an interesting interpretation, and you might be right… still doesn’t make it good writing if nobody understands it, and we don't get to see the interesting scenes of the resolution. imo

So is the prince supposed to be a real person that lived once? Is that how the other characters suddenly know so much about him? Are we supposed to recognize his name?

The main couple might have been able to have some interesting development, if their friends didn’t mess with them and cause the same jealousy drama over and over and over again 😩

And trigger warning! wtf is up with drugging your friend in order to make him assault his partner wtffffff

I think people might have unfairly high expectations for Korean shows. I have watched many mediocre Thai shows that were rated higher than this :/

I would seriously love to see a season 2 about this throuple and how they adjust to the modern world 😆🥰

The acting is pretty good, but the story is 😬 like tbh what are Valen’s redeeming qualities? He’s still spoiled, does whatever he wants, doesn’t communicate, etc.
He might seem cute sometimes, but actually dating him would be a nightmare

I am not sure why you are targeting me, when natan used the term first, and you did not seem to have a problem then. It sounds like you really want to put yourself in a position against me and to “win” a fight. I agree with your first point. I think you put it very well.

On you second point, I am sorry that that is your experience with the term, and I’m sure there are cultural differences between us, so I will not force you to use it about yourself. However I am free to use it about myself, as is natan, just like some gay men like to use the f-word about themselves.
Queer is not a “trendy term” within academia where I work. If you read up on the history, it has at least half a century’s history of academic use and work on reclaiming the term.
The reason I use queer here, is because I don’t owe it to you strangers online to define exactly what I am. The term is meant to be inclusive of everyone no matter if they are questioning, genderqueer, asexual etc. It allows us to group together rather than split ourselves into tiny groups and fight amongst ourselves.
I am sorry if I caused you pain, but the term has helped me find community, so I will not stop using it.
