As a person who fantasizes about turning into a hot guy, i cannot relate to jieun being so miserable about her situation. The amount of angst which was based exclusively on that made it harder to get into this show
Tbh I'm ok satisfied with the ending. I wish they would have shown any amount of affection between yunjae and jihun at the end. I also wish they had shown her transforming back into jihun at the end, so it didn't feel like the happy ending was her becoming a girl again forever.
I think my biggest issue with this drama was that it was too long tbh. It was fine when it was filled with goofiness and fun moments, but minju was so unbearable for so so so so so long.
My favorite part of the end was yunjae not defending himself when his family thought he was gay. I liked that his sister and dad supported him, and I felt it was heavily implied that his mom will come around quickly like when she forgave his dad.
Overall it was pretty good 8/10, but Jung Hoo carried so hard I gave it 9/10.
It just feels like the writers don't know what they're trying to say with this story... It should be obvious that the message is "real love transcends gender", but disappointingly it is not clear here
This show is really fun when it's silly, and there have been some super interesting moments, but unfortunately none of it seems to pay off... why have yuri say "i'll love you no matter what you look like" and yunjae act like he's considering it deeply, but then there is no change, no follow up, no pay-off... If it was just a simple plot running in circles it would be one thing, but having to put up with minju the entire time makes this show a struggle to get through :( I found the side pairings super boring too
