Terrible story
A butcher's daughter, with no manners, who marries a good-looking guy by chance and wants to have a baby with him.
Absolutely far, far from reality... and also there is no romance. What should be romantic about a girl washing her feet in a foot wash basin and asking the guy, if he doesn't want to wash the feet in the same basin. No way!!! Very AWFUL story.
Also, her goal in life was only to raise many pigs for meat production, For me is very, very hard to believe that a guy like him would fall in love with a girl like her.
As the Fan Changyu jumped off the cliff from that height - there was no river - everyone would be dead. But she escaped because of some bushes. Nothing realistic or plausible. And so on, and so on.
Zhang Linghe performed much, much better and more credible in other TV Series such as "Story of Kunning Palace", but in this one... is more about the looks as about the depth of the story or his acting performance. I don´t mind looking good actors, but it has also to have a more plausible story and a good balance between acting performance, story and good-looking characters/actors.
I think the TV series has such a high rating only because of the leading male actor. Overall, this Drama is totally overrated.
