this is like someone's first attempt at writing romance, its such a kindergarten level. its not believable at all, the people have no chemistry which makes it weird/forced and lowkey creepy. Seo Hyun-Jin character told the guy 3 times to stop and to not meddle, its so terrible. also the dude looks like he is a middle schooler while Hyun-jin character is a full-on adult. awful and gives me the creeps.
the story didn't need a romance and im forcing myself to watch because the rest of it is interesting; someone that came from a "low-class" trying to defeat the system and because it is Seo Hyun-Jin carrying it but god it is rough.
The Episode 13 Incident... disappointing. i cant say i didn't see it coming after the fate of the Ministry of Justice, massive red flag. maybe the author got pressured to finish things within 16 eps so they had to rush things, but it felt extremely cheap to just ***cide the character as everything before that was so well planned, it doesnt fit, she had lenghts to go down still. and there was no point to kill Suhyeon either, enough atrocities were happening to make the point of "sacrifice" and "hurting innocents", just a turn off as i loved her because of the actress.
i had a feeling the author would start doing pointless and extreme things for the sake of impact and proving a point after episode 11, the narrative stopped being well-crafted and turned into a speed run sadly. Ji sung carried so far but im done here at episode 13.
