Finally i found a cure after joy of life. I hope the rumour isn't true about changing the casts in S2. They at least shouldn't change the main casts and.................the white cat lol

I know something suspicious when I watched ep 1 in iqiyi and it had LGBTQ+ tag on it and then got removed in the following day when they published ep 2. My friend said she read somewhere it's supposedly GaOn's char. That's why he's been rejecting SooHyun since high school. That makes sense and i have no complain tho.

Do I recommend IPYTM? I dunno, what I can say I hate and love this series at the same time.
I hate the story but I love the acting.
I hate the romance but I love the friendship.
I hate ep 3 & 4 but I love ep 1 & 5 and many more.
So yeah, watch at your own risk. If you want a a typical BL drama with fluffy romance, stay far far away from this series!
In my opinion, Nadia should make this series longer, 4-5years span in 5 eps are too short. They should make it 10-12 eps at least to let us understand each char better.

I put this drama on hold for years lol and tbh i regret watching it cos it's super good, i want to watch the S2 so badly right now.

I wish they added 1 more episode, the ending was kinda rush. Overall, it's a good drama, all female leads are smart and brave not annoying at all.

Except the drunk scene, everything is great! History series never fail to amaze me.

My first fave scene is when XingSi's father cried. They successfully showed a vulnerable side of a father. Can I say i rarely (or never) see a father cried this tense in a BL dramas? Usually it's a mom.

My second fave is the wedding! Finally after years of waiting, I can see a genuine wedding in BL dramas! Also, a cameo from MODC cast is a pluss point!

Can't wait for the next History series <3

Wow! Wow! Thanks Netflix to recommend me this movie. Tho i don't really get the real connection between the serpent & the empress BUT i trully enjoy it esp cos it full of handsome actors,,my eyes r blessed LOL

Love the chemistry between the leads. Hope they'll have more projects together.

Overall it was great but i think it's too short. They need to make a mini series for this movie to make it more understandable.

Let me tell u this series is a MASTERPIECE! I hadn't watched a BL series for a few months and some ppl recommended this ITSAY. I was like, It say? It says?? LOL I had a doubt at first cos it's a *sorry* Thai BL but I gave it a try and Wow i love it!! Hands down to Nadao Bangkok, they set a new standard for Thai BL Series.

I can't wait till March 21 to see Tan & Oh together. But I worry at the same time cos in the first scene, seems like Tan isn't together with Oh anymore. Does he break his promise and dissapear again? ;(

I picked this drama randomly at WeTV and unexpectedly I got hooked and watched all eps in one go. I love it! One of the best c-drama this year!

I've been following her since Iljimae *daem im old lol* She's grown up now and become one of the prettiest Korean actress. I believe she'd have a bright future in K-entertainment industry.

I love KYJ & JCW chemistry here. KYJ is super beautiful <3 I'm slightly upset no proper kiss scene for them so I hope they are able to act together again in future.

Wt*! Someone pls tell me there is an alt or extended ver with a better ending T-T How about the ending of the novel? Is it better?

I wish she'd be more selective in her next project. I'm looking forward to watching her as a villain/ a serious char like in Tiger & Rose ep1 when she's wearing a red dress. She looked super badass & gorgeous!

10 years later.................

I almost dropped this drama. It got really boring in the middle, I skipped around ten eps and did many ff. I prefer the original version to the remake. I find the original is funnier, the FL is smarter and bolder, the friendship is more solid and most importantly the conflict is better explained, maybe because the original based on real Korea history (?) It involved the king too if im not mistaken.
