The acting is great, the VFX are well-done, the visuals are stunning, the music works, but there is something…
well it's following the same general structure for every event which can get boring. Also, the VFX may be good but the props and settings are very mediocre.
Yeah she doesn't match the appearance by age. But i am willing to wait to actually see the show before deciding if it's a good casting or not. Hopefully this show doesn't disappoint given the huge budget.
Does BZ still doesnt know it was XQ's plan all along? I mean QF didnt even told him anything
BZ basically wants to keep serving XQ since she helped him and QF elope. So everything he/QF does is considered to be done for XQ and the Qiaos. That's why he doesn't care whether or not it was XQ's plan as long as it benefits XQ.
More people watching...early watchers are usually fans of either the story or cast so they rate it higher.
But the drama is good. The FL and ML have both proven themselves through previous works. The story is progressing in an appropriate manner for an "extreme enemies to lovers" genre.
Some people just can't help but hate actors who don't have the "perfect" look/image since they have nothing better going on in their own lives.
I am on Ep 2 and the acting of both male leads is very flat. Dialogues, the way they carry themselves, and even the speech. Does it improve? The only character I like so far is Landy Li's. But I hope future episodes improve upon this.
People are really hating on the FLs character for being immature and acting up. You should consider that she went back to the "safety" of her parents after dealing with life changing events. She went back to her parents because she could act a little immature and a little free. This is pretty normal for anyone who's dealing with a lot of stress/anxiety and just wants to take a break from life.
Imagine losing your job with the reason "we no longer need you here" despite having worked relentlessly, and walking in on our your fiancee cheating right after that. Anyone would breakdown and go into a anxious spiral for a while.
I think her character is very realistic so far of a person under emotional distress. Her own mother's reaction is also very realistic. I can't agree with how the other moms act though.

Visual effects are not bad but could have been done better. Let's hope they improve in the later episodes.
"Alone without more episodes, I suffer nostalgia even more on this Saturday!"
What did that mean? Can any novel reader clarify it? I don't mind spoilers.
