Spoilers please.1. What episode do they get together?2. Any breakups. How much episode?3 Any love triangle?4.…
1- épisode 8 2- breakup around 15 they go back together at ep 28 3_ yes in the first part bur pretty heavy 4- yes 5- not the better romance for me, the chemistry is also lacking. A lot of misunderstanding and no communication. Long distance relationship. 6- few kisses and not very good to watch. It’s not fish kiss. The ML is a green flag.
I’m on episode 3 and I’m having a hard time continuing. The writing is quite weak, the pacing is slow, and the FL seems to be brainless. I don’t like tropes that start with the FL hating/rejecting the ML for no apparent reason other than having heard rumors especially when he saved her… 🤔 I don’t like sulking; it’s not cute, it’s annoying. Overall, I find it quite confusing, even though I can see where the script is heading. Maybe it’s not for me
It’s disappointing how some viewers flatten Cui Lin into a ‘manipulative female lead’ trope, overlooking…
For me, the FL should be intelligent, but here she’s selfish and only focused on her own interests and emotions. Personally, I like FLs who think things through, who are competent, mature, etc.
For example: Lin Ni saves both her and Liu Cheng Feng, and what happens? LCF, ungrateful and jealous, kills Lin Ni’s soldiers. Lin Ni isn’t allowed to resent him for that? Then she blames Lin Ni for not saving the murderer of his comrades?
When Lin Ni is whipped 30 times, she doesn’t defend him to her father; she thinks it’s normal that her father mistreats him. When Lin Ni loses all his friends and wakes up injured, she only talks about herself and her own worries.
When she switches the crown prince and he ends up kidnapped, she’s convinced she’s right, even though the child might be in danger but since she has her own ideas and ambitions for Lin Ni, she doesn’t care.
Same thing in many situations, she never shows empathy toward him, never puts herself in his place, and even lets her maid constantly belittle the man she’s supposedly in love with.
She may be skilled in military strategy, but on a human level, she’s just a spoiled child, indulged by her father and by LCF. She’s immature, self-centered, and narrow-minded.
An intelligent woman should also have emotional intelligence. I think her character could have been written much better.
