Yea this was kind of where I was coming from. Once again, I thought she was in her 20s. So I couldn't quite understand why she physically grabbed the whole chair and tried to move it when the emperor told her to sit closer.

I totally agree with you. I have already stated in my other replies, I thought she was a 20 year old acting some what maturely. It was until I finished part 1 was when I first found out she was 14.

CSS s definitely portrayed as a girl who does not need to be pitied by the other drama characters. But I feel like for me, ( keeping in mind that I thought she was in her 20s ) it would have been a lot easier for me to accept the way she is acting right now. If the director showed more of her hardships as a kid and how her relatives spoiled her into having some what of a spoiled personality I would be able to understand more.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa thats exactly how I feel. I cringed alot when she was talking to the emperor. I think that the reason why I dislike css right now is because I can't justify how her childhood resulted in her acting immaturely? But that ties into the fact that they didn't show us. I would have thought that her childhood would have shaped her into a more independent witty kid but we need variety and thats fine too.

You are right tho, I have to keep in mind that she is still a kid. I couldn't finish ep 26 because I can't understand her conversation with lby in the carriage.

The part where she isn't afraid of being different is admirable. But I just can't wrap my head around how she handles situations. I'm not sure how to put it, she seems abit bratty to me. Hopefully this is what the author intended and her character develops into a more mature smart fml??? :)

Update: My bad I didn't know she was 14. That explains a lot now. I thought she was in her 20s which is why I expected a bit more maturity from her. I can't wait to see her character development tho.


I understand that CSS went through a hard childhood and I understand that people have different personalities. But the more I watch, the more I find it hard to pity CSS. Her personality isn't very respectable and I find quite her annoying at times. 🤷Sorry
