Wen Tao is just too sweet, too good to be true! his closing scene at the end of ep.24 broke my heart & got me all teary 😭 i usually stand firmly on one side, either shipping only the ML 100%, or SML 100%. this is the only time i'm so torn in between the two... reckon bcos of how both gents are really gentlemen - they compete for Zhou LinLin's heart in a fair way and don't bother causing unnecessary drama/misunderstanding. when one of them are seriously injured, the other will pause the pursuing-game and offer to look after the injured one till he's healed & ready to join the game again. and let's not forget Xie DuanXi & Ye RuTing - they're so adorable! 😍 i actually love their chemistry much more, and i find that their visual outshine the main leads.
Is it dubbing or subtitles? The other drama you dropped because you said dubbing but it was actually subtitles.…
for me, it's the dubbing. i'm pretty confident with my listening, so i don't really read the subtitle. the ML has another drama, "Venus on Mars" - i saw the trailer & personally find his voice there is way better than the one in "Mysterious Love" and "Love of Replica".
bloody hell, really despise the FL's voice dubbing & accent! only came here for Li GeYang, but gosh the story, editing - almost everything about this drama is eww. cringy story & editing. will just watch Li GeYang's newest dramas i guess...
it's a mixture of fluffy, sweet, pure/innocent & feel-good drama. the visual of the actors, the warm/melancholy/sentimental vibe, the music - all in all i find that i really adore Mao De Shu's style in directing & editing his dramas. i reckon he'll be great in directing the Chinese version of the Korean Reply series, if they ever wanted to remake them.
the only downsides are: -younger/boyish ML + older FL is not my cuppa, but it's just my personal preference. i'd normally just drop & not wasting my time trying to finish the whole thing, but this one is an exception - i managed to stay till the end -can hardly feel any chemistry between the main leads. the second & third couples shine more when it comes to romance. again might be my personal preference, but heck even ZZQ and FQL has more bromance chemistry lol -i notice how most of the OSTs are in English - would've been more awesome if they're in Mandarin.
err what's this? it was not that bad, till the last 5 episodes - the story became so cliche, full of unnecessary misunderstandings.
BUT on a positive note, it's a reminder for us -to always allocate a time to talk to our partner, even if it's just a quick 5-10mins call -to give our partner a chance to talk, to explain things, to ask questions -not to assume on things - rather, back to point 1 and 2 -not to leave misunderstanding and miscommunication hanging for ages, no matter how busy we are -leave the couple alone, even when we've had a crush on them for a long time - if they're not meant for us then they're just not for us. don't be that person who delights in destroying ppl's relationship.
gosh their accent - it's such a treat to my ears! all the main actors, even the supporting casts used their own voice. they didn't use the usual thick Mainland dialect, and i personally prefer this lighter accent really! really hope there'll be more CDramas that appreciate their actor's original voice ❤️
dunno why but keep thinking Wang Jia Yin (the one who plays Wang Xin Yu)'s accent sounds like a 90 year old grandma in a baby voice... is it just me? she's looks pretty though!
was attracted by Tang Xiao Tian in My Little Happiness, so came to watch this. but my oh my his voice was dubbed here! 😭 have always been a supporter of actor's original voice.
