There haven't been too many short series that are themed like My Journey To You with the different factions all scheming to rule the main branch. So far, very enjoyable with a great line up of talent.

That was one of the longest opening monologues / narration in costume drama land in the last few years. I found it was easier to just start watching the series and let the explanations play out rather than try to go through that again 🤣. I'm thinking maybe I don't have the same attention span from years past 😂

I'm not sure how this is all connected as I also didn't see the connection to the two series until people mentioned it.

There was one teen boy who escaped that clan and ran into the ML and received help from him so he had a bigger part in the series.

It's definitely unreal to see them constantly devote so much time to down voting.

It's easy for antis to make negative comments here and manipulate the MDL ratings. The great thing is that the series is doing exceptionally well in Asia and it's quickly becoming popular on Netflix as well.

I wasn't sure about this one in the beginning; however, the drama builds to a crescendo. Worth a high rating and re-watch value.

I really appreciate that the Director decided to film most of the series on location so that we get the feel of the barren climate and what's needed to survive there. All acting is on point. Yes, the FL has been accused of Meng Zi Yi's style of acting, acting with her eyes but with a slack face; however, I think perhaps the direction given to her was to look stern throughout as her crying scenes are on point. She will become a more seasoned actor with time. Great story with lots of action and on-location filming make up for any small flaws in the series for me.

It was a good watch with that little comment I made. Try it and see if you like it.

The most beautiful OST. I never skip the opening or ending episodes, even on re-watch.
