I didn't realize his personality was even darker in the novel. I'm glad they mellowed him out a bit. As it was, she didn't truly fall for him until the last couple of episodes. If he had a darker personality here, she might not have fallen for him until the last 2 seconds of the series 😂😂

I haven't seen such a murdery, strangly, cranky ML in a series for a long while. The closest that comes to mind was the ML in The Wolf. I often wondered if/how the FL was going to fall in love with him. It was such a great performance by ZLH. He put forth a serious command presence in this series. BL is great as always and all of the supporting actors played their part well. It was a treat to watch such an interesting story line unfold after last year when their was nothing much coming out after summer was over.

Remember that the ML told the FL that if he's in love with someone he'd keep that information to himself so that no one could use that information to threaten him. He's in a precarious position with his revenge strategy; thus, it's probably going to be a slow burn for the next few episodes.

I don't usually watch modern dramas; however, this one was a mix of modern and costume and the plot grabbed my attention. The 2 leads are great and the supporting players are doing their part. No fast forwarding needed. Hopefully, it keeps up the pace.

Not every series is for everyone. Just go with the ones that sound interesting to you.

Skip to episode 32 and it really picks up after the draggy middle. The stakes are high at the end and a lot of interesting plot lines all converge.

There's a really intense fight and some high flying acrobatic kicks in the coming of age ceremony episode 17 or 18.

Yes, that repressed anger he has over what happened when he was younger to himself, his mother and all of those lost souls has to be released at some point, lol.

This is really good, quite a bit of action and mystery. There are no draggy parts and, so far, the plot is enjoyable. Hope it keeps up the pace.

It was funny when he reprimanded her about liking ZZ, that if he had someone he fancied, he'd keep it deep within his heart so that no one could use that information/person against him. She didn't get that she was the person he fancied.

It's way better than last year. There were no costume dramas of note from September all the way until around May of this year. I ended up cancelling my subscriptions since I got tired of waiting.
