Troll study day 2.1

It's a frustrating series to watch as Xu Kai put so much effort into his spear work and has a great FL to match but a lot of the decisions by the "good guys" are cringe throughout. It is good enough to watch to the end, a bit draggy or you can move on to Wonderland of Love with Xu Kai which has a great beginning so far.

What a great opening. It's like a book that grabs your attention from the first few pages.

It just started so not many people have voted. Hopefully, it will go up with time. The script and the opening scenes look great so far.

I appreciated him in King's Affection as well. Good acting or not, this series thus far is boring IMO. I agree with you - he did not pick a good script this time around.

First, I never compared him to Bai Lu. I specifically said they started out together at the same agency, that she'd been involved in some great projects lately and that I hoped the same for him. Second, the great thing about social media is that everyone can have an opinion and write what they want. If you don't like it, you don't have to be on social media reading opinions that are contrary to yours. You appear to have been triggered or annoyed by a simple conversation I had with Draco. In reality, Xu Kai is one of my favorite actors and I had mentioned that a Xu Kai project should be rated higher, if not for the story being a bit lacking. I must not be the only one that thinks this way as it's rated 7.7, which is low for a Xu Kai series.

Agree, that would have made for an interesting arc and total sense.

I agree with you - she looks too petite to be a General and definitely not disciplined enough to be a military General.

I enjoyed the story and followed it to the end without fast forwarding. I agree with other comments that Wang You Shuo's acting really shone during the production. He deserves props for his acting and more ML roles. With regard to Ireine Song, who did great in EverNight, the Director made her character a little over the top here. She comes off as overly harsh and bratty, with a severe reckless bent rather than spunky and fierce. It was difficult to imagine someone as petite as her as a general, able to beat all men 1on1.

I'm liking Moon In The Day. There is more going on right at the start in this series that grabs you from the beginning.

I thought it was just me. I'm midway through ep 2 and thought it was getting boring too so moved on to Moon In The Day which premiered. I'll come back to this but hope it gets more interesting.

It would be great if he's not deathly sick in this one like so many other of his projects.

After Word of Honor, Back From The Brink and now Scent of Time, I hope to see this fabulous actress in many more high profile works.

Well said. The gulf in maturity level here is obvious. Hopefully, Jiren will not continue to act like a water army fan that attacks other celebrities' fans.
