I started it being so excited and the first two episodes were a let down to me, but it’s growing on me. You can tell the actors are all on their first acting experience but some of them are getting better episode by episode.
Things I find super cringe: - for being a series about sex, sex scenes are filmed really badly. They look like they’re filmed by someone filming something for the first time. They don’t look ‘real’ in many ways. Many times they have sex with underwear on. I mean I get that nudity isn’t for everyone, but there are objects in the room for that (a table, an angle, the sheets) but please having an intercourse with both of them wearing boxers? And there are many like that - the use of English when none of these actors sound like native English speakers. There are other series like KinnPorsche where a character like Vegas sometimes spoke English because it’s the actor’s first language, and as long as it may sound a little cringe there as well, at least he is a ‘native’ speaker cause he studied at international school, so English is the first language he speaks at home (and like him there are many others in Thailand like that) on the other hand you can tell some characters here are forced to speak English (First-Soong for example) to act cool, but honestly to me it’s the exact contrary and it sounds super not cool lol - the whole senpai - kohai thing with Teena and Zouey. I mean not the relationship senpai kohai but THOSE YAOI SOUNDS…please no🥹 they’re not even funny - I’m not sure if I got it right but…did Soong actually r*ape Nant? Because if he did, it’s such a disappointment and there is no way of forgiving this character. He was also a shit to First compared on how Teena is with Zouey
Now things I’m liking
- Nont and Prom HAVE CHEMISTRY please give them more parts together. I feel like they should have way more screen time. - Captain’s character seems…interesting. I’m not sure if I understand him completely - I’m enjoying the twin/investigation plot, and I really hope Nant is alive even tho I’m 98% sure he is not 💔💔 - Teena is HOT also his character looks like one of the bests - I’m so interested in the whole Nant past especially with Nuth - Even tho it’s so wrong, Nuth and Phop are cute ;-;
So yeah it’s a fifty fifty for me, absolutely not the worst thing I’ve ever seen but I can tell there is so much to improve. I’m interested on how it goes on tho!
