Tencent dramas r one of the leaders in C drama hits ! And how can u pretend P A doesn’t exist when Rebirth is considered a sequel to P A ? Rebirth didn’t do well across the board not just Douban . Tian Tian Mabe more suitable for other dramas not this one at this stage in her acting career.

PA had its shortcomings for sure but it was still one of my fav dramas . The end was devastating . So when I heard of a sequel I was overjoyed but also know they had big shoes to fill . But this Rebirth is ……

And the irony is one poster laffed at PA rating of 5.3 on Douban saying it was pathetic . Loool

The last few episodes exceeded my expectations . Such a heart wrenching beautifully done drama . The most saddest and the most happiest wedding I have ever seen . Both versions were excellent . Love u both HE SIMU X DUAN XU ❤️

Was an A plus drama down graded to A . Lack of sponsorship /brand deals. Critisim on production etc and lack of experienced actors that are not so suitable for the roles given . Esp the f lead because she lacks experience / maturity and is too young for the role , because this is a sequel to Princess Agents the cast were more experienced in relation to Rebirth . Viewership too has been impacted . So ranking has dropped . Also PA had its own controversies too but what helped was enormous viewership . 40 approx sponsorships/ brands and an experienced cast . These are what I have gathered info so make of it what u will . Lest someone says I made it all up lol .

I’m just in the beginning phase of rebirthso I don’t have much input . Simple as that . And if u read more into what I said it was in response to OP .

And down so many pages An OP brought up PA got a Lil ova 5 douban trying to slight PA. I brought up that P A had some production issues for sure and the plagerism scandal didn’t help . Some unfavorable reviews . But PA had enormous viewership and many brand sponsorships . In general great acting esp Shawn Dou and Liying , and some castmembers . A plus is they had experience . , aura ….and fit their roles , on top this drama won awards . I did not put down or say anything negative about Rebirth . So it is what it is . Now P A is having a big resurgence . And some will say get lost go praise PA on their page . lol how can u separate them ? Rebirth is a sequel . Of course some will not like PA and some will not like Rebirth . Different strokes for different folks .
