And it’s been my theory all along the Tian’s are somehow responsible for the tribute ink incident that got her husband killed. BRILLIANT!! This episode, this cast, this whole drama, and the writing! Jay Robin (web novel author) I haven’t read it but I must find it. The MV was such a surprise. Creators, cast, and all the crew knocked it out of the park. Did the cast have a hard time filming this drama? I mean, they had to have had a hard time keeping straight faces! There’s bound to be a mega blooper reel from this. 🤣

When I went back to see what was said on IQIYI I saw originally they didn’t have the lyrics of what the children were singing at the pinning ceremony but it’s been added now.
Also the inscription on the painting in ep6 iQIYI said “All hills below looks small to my eye” But Viki said “All looks smaller from the zenith.” I like this one better. There were other differences but 🤷🏼♀️.

The Tian people were under the Luo’s thumb for years with much resentment built up so I absolutely think they were involved since they were also the ones who gained the most in the long run. Old man Tian playing a long con. Take out the Luo competition then take out Luo.
I love this drama, the cast, and the story so much but now that I just finished the novel "Liang Chen Mei Jin by Chen Xiang Hui Jin, I wish this drama could’ve been a truer adaptation although I know there were reasons for so many changes *sigh*
