I was just saying to OP that “her mother dies” sounds innocuous and sad-like whereas it wasn’t. And yes her father threatened her but we all know it wasn’t the reason she walked away from her mom
I really don't understand anything. Her mother died, she killed her father, and she took revenge on those who…
Her mother didn’t just die. She knew her father pushed her and didn’t do anything. She knew her mother was still alive when she walked away from her and didn’t do anything.
i really liked today’s epi and the preview was good too and the way tae oh is serving his acting he is playing…
They’re really nailing the facial expressions and mannerisms!
I wished though when they showed us their real selves they’d be wearing the clothing they’re in i.e. she’d be in the king’s clothing and he in the eunuch’s.
Three things: 1. Truth about BAJ is pretty blatant in ep 7, without even going to ep 8 2. Junseo never was and…
It’s a thing, people who have made up their mind to end thing have been known to get their affairs in order. Like cleaning. As you said “ The setup to suicide in webtoon is believable but HERE sequence of events is not logical or remotely rational.” Just disappointed me greatly. I wanted to see that actor doing that arc.
Why I can believe murder is only because he wouldn’t have left his brother in this particular situation. But yeah I can see him doing that in the manhwa regardless of his brother. It was pretty brutal what happened to lead him to that point. Maybe they’re going to point us in the direction of that crazy ceo.
I was really hoping that the In Gang arc would be like the manhwa. Hwang In Yeop deserves that arc. To be able to act that would’ve been phenomenal. I was really looking forward to that.
This abruptness of his character’s arc in this drama doesn’t feel realistic. Did they change it because of too many celebrity self harms due to bullying by the fans and public has been in the media almost constantly? Did they feel it was capitalizing or overdone?
Also the manhwa arc really hammered home her character’s sociopathic nature. What happened to In Gang was more shocking than the cafe owner.
I was wondering: when there are two or three dramas in the same day, which one do you start with? The one that…
Heaviest followed by lighter one. So this one then Spirit Fingers.
But generally the one that makes me most anxious to see next ep is first. Like if Manipulated was same day a Dear X I’d watch Dear X first. They might be miles apart in quality in many areas but I’m hooked on Dear X.

He wants to bring her down.
