My comment about her having crazy eyes was not about her actual eyes especially eye shape. It was about the look of intense emotion maybe lack of control, or instability due to mental illness. To me she looked unstable in many past episodes maybe due to her fervent desire for the company. The riverside chat with Patrick showed a much different look in hers eyes. Healthier.

There was all sorts of weird ages in The Desperate Mrs Seonju. A 55yo actress playing 60-65yo character who had a 50yo actress playing a daughter of 45 or so. So weird.
A much needed palate cleanser after The Defects. Brain cleanser after the toxic stress. Eye wash after the corrosive exposure to harmful substances. Dopamine after the adrenaline. Hope we get it in buckets even though thereās hints of tomfoolery .
That type of person reads other people so well he probably knew those two were involved with her(other than professionally.) They like to push buttons so besides her he enjoyed their reaction as well.
