I felt so sad about yi san that time. Because of the sad ending people will hard to forget this drama. Also i will remember it in my life time. But in red sleeve talk show lee se young said that this drama has a Sappy ending. It means sad and happy ending.
But I think Yi San is suffering here than deok im. It hurt me so much. He has to be a good king for his people. That makes hard for his personal life. In his whole life he only did one selfish decision. That is to be wath deok im. His life was also miserable he can't even get deok im's confession.
It's true that deok im hasn't family even she leave the palace she will be alone. But writers wanted to make it like she was so depressed because she has to live in palace. It was good if she can live happily there. Yi san only loves her . In my opinion their haven't any problem to worry to deok im.

I want to rewatch this masterpiece time to time. But after rewatching this 3 times i understand that the many time i watch the many pain i have to endure. if the ending was like what i said earlier then it can ease my pain and i can rewatch as much as i want.

You are so brave to watch this drama many times. I only watched 3 times but still get traumatised all time. You said king is arrogant the fact is soo true. I mean he is a king after all. I can't understand why people tell he is a red flag. He didn't force deok im. As deok im said that it was also her dicision to stay with him. Sometimes I can't also understand deok im at all. Even in her death bed she didn't express her love that can ghost yi san for his whole life. If she loved him a little bit she should have tell that to him. But think a bit lee san was so strict about his political works that means he can always abondan deok im. I mean in last episode when deok im was ill he also went for political works. Also when deok im was pregnant and king knows about that but he had to go to queen's room. I know these can also deok im have to understand because San is king but it was too much for deok im to see and listen those things. She knew it from the first that she can't endure that pain. I respect the male lead because he was a good king to poeple. But thinking about it again it is true he can't even stay with deok im when she wants. She was mentally ill day by day. i think she felt lonely and bored because she has to stay in her room. Imagine when you married and your husband can't stay with you when you want him. But also you have to stay only in room that felt lonely so much. But i hoped atleast in her death bed she will express her love for him. It makes me curious that her love for San.
