I am a little upset at JY from the preview. Seems like she is the one who brings up KS and MR to her mother. Why can’t they all mind their own business? I will be so glad when the long lost daughter comes back and the mother and sister realize she has never planned to come home and be a wife to KS and a mother to JD. She definitely won’t want to be a part of their family again. It is what her mother deserves for the way she has controlled KS for the last 10 years but my heart will hurt for JD.

😂😂😂 I just am long winded. I always think I wish I could get to the point I’m trying to make without thinking I have to retell the story to people who already know it. 😂😂

@Sher1264 I noticed that what he said to the chairman in front of the family was almost word for word what JH told him on the roof after the announcement that they had chosen KS’s idea over JH’s. Something like not to think he was anything more than a caregiver and not to over step his boundaries because he was not an employee of HDF. Then KS goes home and the first thing SS asks is if he asked for him to be promoted and acted like KS was being selfish because of his actually considering taking an assistant managers job. I hope since he said it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and it would allow a lot of people a chance to taste his dishes that instead of the assistant manager he asks to work in the test kitchen. I think that would be the best place for him and maybe he could still stay with the chairman as his caretaker part time. I feel like his relationship with the chairman is crucial for his development of standing up and not backing down to people. Things that SD should have taught him but chose not to be his dad until he thought he would get some money out of him by marrying him off to HR. The chairman is the closest thing to an actual father he has ever had so it would be hard to make the choice to leave him.

I am like you. I want my privacy even if it is a wrong number. 😂 LOVED, LOVED, LOVED WHEN MR kept asking “oppa” scumbag who had texted him. Several times the look on her face seemed like she is beginning to think something is up with him. But the excuse of meeting the buyer at the airport wasn’t a smart one or I’m overthinking because wouldn’t he have to report the results of that meeting to his supervisor who had questioned why he hadn’t been told about the meeting? Also, loved when the chairman put little D in his place about KS’s qualifications for the job…kind of felt like he was telling little D boy that KS was more qualified than him to work there.

My favorite part was when KS was watching MR walk away (even tho dirtbag dad saw it) and he had that smitten look on his face and took one step towards her and then another half step. 🥰

Does anyone besides me think the JY is seeing her guy from the interview with as pretty as she looked today? And smart girl doesn’t want nosy mother to know.

I think he will ask for his sister in law a job.

Not only has she held KS hostage she has held JD’s feelings hostage. After 10 years a normal grandmother would not be still trying to tie JD & KS to her by always pretending to be the martyr so they feel guilty for even having a thought of moving on with their lives. The whole she should let him go but couldn’t because it was her daughter that was such a horrible person and she takes responsibility for it and can’t let him go because of it speech was a load of hooey. I kind of got it when she first said it but more and more I feel like if she truly felt that way she wouldn’t be encouraging KS to continue to wait on a person who obviously has no feeling for her husband or daughter. She would have encouraged KS to find someone that will love him and JD the way a man and daughter should be loved. If she truly loved her granddaughter she wouldn’t play mind control games to keep the thought that her mom is coming back for her no matter when in the forefront of her thoughts. MIL is a selfish B****. It has crossed my mind on more than one occasion that she acts more like a jealous wife than a MIL and what the possibility is she is in love with KS herself and that’s why she is so dead set against him moving on. Every time I see that professional photograph on the wall with KS on his knees behind all the women I have, from the first time I saw it, thought it was odd. The position they have him makes it look more like a man, his wife, and their kids. As the mother/MIL she should have been the one behind her “children”. There are just odd things that make me think that it is a possibility.

Still no English subs yet but from look on her face, tone of her voice and her family member’s reactions SJ seems to be on a roll tearing down KS again today. I have yet to understand why the family puts up with her snarky self especially the chairman and MIL. But you would think she and little Dong boy would be best buddies because of their shared hatred of KS or should I say their insecurities.

First time I ever cheered MIL on.

I was skeptical about her being the long lost wife until little Dong boy was bad mouthing KS to MR in the art academy and JD caught him and threw the paint water on his shirt. To me what he said were complaints he had heard and was just repeating them.

Because he might lose his housekeeper if she finds a man. He has probably scared away any man that has ever shown an interest in her so she would be able to raise little Dong boy and his housekeeper.

I know, right. And did little Dong boy carry even one box in to help out after the supposed love of his life tried to carry one and couldn’t? Watching KS walk in loaded down with bags and boxes walking in at the same time my future SIL walks in carrying nothing to help him would be a huge big flag to me.

MIL can’t think past what her sons in law are doing to think of something like that. I hate that she saw KS, JD, and MR walking like a happy family with JD holding onto both their arms. I’m just waiting for MIL to start in on him. As much as I loved the things that happened in today’s episode especially the look on MR’s face several times toward little Dong boy, I am picturing MIL on a rampage again about KS staying true to long gone wife. She already made him basically swear he would never be interested in another woman when she caught MR prepping the veggies with him for her mom’s dinner.

I thought he was only supposed to be in Korea for a few months and then back to the US? But then he was buying a house and I would assume the remodel will include a nursery for the baby.

I did catch that. I wasn’t sure if it was a glitch from the writers or actors. After episode 30 I can see why TK never was comfortable even with the father that adopted him in that family.
