XL quickly gave up her 10 rules when she got together with HL. Her brother was a piece of work too. He pushed her into leaving a very nice older man because he didn’t fit any of her rules but obviously cared a lot about her into HL arms because he thought HL was going to build this huge empire and he would move the brother up into more powerful positions as the company grew. The older man that cared about her was already rich and didn’t have to keep his lover happy to continue his work and wealth. But I did learn from this movie that in China you can wear skirts that barely cover up your crotch to work as a business woman. 😂

Just watched raw version and I just read body language because I only understand very few words so these are just guesses.

Ditzy Dong told MR and KS what happened with KS father. Little Dong goes ballistic because it’s KS dad so he hops up and goes flying over to side dish store and grabs KS by the collar and starts talking nasty and I think he might have been shaking him. Of course, MR follows and takes ahold of little D’s arm and pulls a little and says oppa yet again in that little voice. I think her voice may have been a little more stern than normal but still not doing what she should. We all know if it had been anyone other than KS’s father little D wouldn’t have made a move but he had to show KS who is boss and act like a fool doing it. And KS like the whipping boy he is apologized to little D again. And bowed to the aunt while he apologized to her. Btw…little D looks like he’s about 15 years old when he’s trying to be all manly towards KS.

Just by the way he was reacting, SS is probably mad over the incident and is yelling or talking sternly about his job being in jeopardy. If it’s really so bad then he needs to rent an apartment and distance himself from the family like before he decided to rent out his house to make money and live for free with the in-laws.

KS dad did what he does best…ran away when the fire was lit under his butt by the family. KS goes looking and who does he call? HR. Omg dude! Get a clue! Could that same call not have been made to HS? Anyway, of course, she jumps up and I’m guessing from HS reaction she wants to help find KS dad and there had to be some sort of how happy KS would be with her if she found his dad. HS looked as if he burst her bubble by the pout.

MR mother is pushing the chairman to let MR and little D marry soon. I don’t think he likes the idea but he didn’t look as stern as he normally does when the marriage is mentioned.

MR helps KS look for his dad. Let the man go, KS! He is not your responsibility just like you weren’t his when he dropped you off with his grandmother. 😡

Again, these are just my guesses from facial expressions and body language. Will let you know how close I am when the subs come out. 😂

Btw…I loved when MR and KS met on the steps and they talked about the children’s home. You can tell by their body language that something is brewing between the two. I think her smile is brighter when she smiles with KS or I just like to think it is. ☺️

Those are all good questions but could he work in South Korea and own a business if he isn’t registered? Idk if being “registered” is like getting a social security card here? I don’t think I’ve ever heard him talk about his mandatory military fulfillment. We know SS did because he talks about it in his sleep. 😂 Maybe the grandmother was able to register him since she was his only parent figure? How does he use the last name Geum if he wasn’t registered because don’t they go by mother’s maiden name if the couple aren’t married. I don’t believe 99% of what SD spouts out of his mouth.

@Sher1264 I think little and big Dong will rush to put that product on the shelf and it will not sell. As I said before, I don’t really think wealthy people are going to buy a high end porridge to take for lunch at work or eat for dinner. That would be an average Joe that would buy for those reasons. But absolutely agree that little Dong wants to appeal to a higher class of people with his products than the people who have made HDF the rich people they are.

The chairman always says they don’t make porridge for sick people but why wouldn’t they cater to normal everyday folks. Everyone would have access to a good product that is easy to make when you feel like crap. I would think it would be a big hit in hospitals, elderly homes, etc.. Plus if the consumer wants it more “high end” they could add their own fresh meat & veggies and season to taste. 🤔

I want to repeat how much I dislike little Dong. That look after KS gave his opinion on the porridge recipe and the Chairman contradicted his opinion was like he’s cock of the walk now. I agree with KS. Porridge is mainly for someone not feeling so great. I have a hard time believing that wealthy people will tell whoever shops for them to go buy high end instant porridge for them to carry to work or serve for dinner. But since I’m far from wealthy idk. 🤔

Next I’m tired of “Charlie”. He never has money so how does he always have a working cell phone? I imagine KS pays for it. It bothers me that he just takes whatever he wants…like the face mask…without asking. Did he just go in and get in SIL drawer to get it or did he have JD steal another one. I’ve already commented on crazy HR still trying to win KS. JD is my hero stopping HR in her tracks when she is “flirting” with KS and frustrating HR.😂 Keep it up girl!

Preview: Why is momma now pushing the Chairman to let MR and JH marry sooner. Is she that clueless? Of course, little D never shows his true colors in front on anyone connected to MR’s family.
Can’t wait to see KS and MR sitting at an outdoor table and he opens a can of something for her and tells her he will walk her home. Is this his declaration of war on little D?

This is way off topic but every time I see that hair tie (pony or pig tail holder in my vocabulary) I flash back to when my mom would use them on my ponytail and if they popped apart while she was wrapping it around or during the day you felt like you’d been hit by a marble thrown at your head full speed. 😂 And after 20 years would that still have elasticity?

I am team JD, too. HR gets what she deserves, imo, because as you say she is daft! I know HR is convinced that KS is just hiding his feelings because of JD but she needs to quit embarrassing herself and looking like an idiot. If I was looking for an art academy for my child and saw the owner, that also could be my child’s teacher, acting and speaking the way HR thinks is cutesy towards another parent, I definitely would not send my child there.

I don’t know if he doesn’t care or he is just oblivious to the fact that every time he spends time alone with HR he gives her false hope. If he doesn’t bust her bubble soon poor MR when it comes out that KS has fallen in love with her.

Why was this episode mainly SD and Ditzy Dong that everyone is sick and tired of and very little KS and/or MR. But I will say that I was glad to see MR SIL in something that was young looking. Those dresses she usually wears look like they should be on an 80 yr old grandma. 😂

Just watched the raw version and I have no idea what HR is saying to KS in their closed door meeting but her voice and the way she moves her mouth when she talks to KS makes me want to shake the snot out of her. Oh, she is irritating but so is KS that he keeps putting himself alone with her. I’m sure HR used the parent/teacher conference type meeting but she obviously was using it for something other than talking about JD’s art work progress. But when JD stormed in the office the look on HR’s face showed she is worried what JD will do next to keep her away from KS.

Am about half way thru this drama. I’m having a hard time watching the last few. Like we didn’t see the creep HL going for the weakest link in that circle of friends. His blaming everyone for the problems and life issues that he chose and whining about them I’ve gotten to where I just FF thru his scenes. Then let’s bring back the evil ex to cause havoc in the ML’s life but also his company. Speaking of the weakest link XL why can she forgive evil HL for doing to XY exactly what her ex fiancé did to her. Especially since XY was a strong support offer after the fiancé was found cheating. Guess it’s okay to happen to XY but not her. And when XL kept making ways for HL to see and talk to XY after he chose another woman…why? She is supposedly one of your best friends. 😡 I’m about over all these characters in this drama but I’ve only got 13 more episodes so I will trudge on thru and finish it up.

I’m sure you’re right about that. I think she is jealous. She didn’t want him because of his daughter but now that her manager is interested all of a sudden she’s okay with a kid, etc. It’s going to get really messy in that family soon. Think of how the oldest son is going to react to not only YD but also her brother, who has no stability other than living with his mother and being a dad to his daughter, dating his sister. Plus they both are from a “lower class” than he is.

@9713023 She lived and was in love with Jay while she was in the US and only broke up because he wanted to get engaged and she didn’t ever want to marry or have kids if I remember right…plus he had a weird family. 😂 But YD’s brother that looks exactly like her ex and has a kid she all of a sudden is okay with a kid and marriage? I would be fine if it was a different guy than one that looks like her ex’s identical twin brother. Plus I just realized that if uncle ends up being involuntary sperm doner then the other daughter-in-law’s baby will be cousin to YD & Real because YD is niece of sperm donor, if the spoiled daughter gets her way with the Jay look alike then you have the nephew of the sperm doner in the baby’s family as well along with his daughter, both will be cousins to the baby. That is a way too messed up situation for me.

Agree! It really bothers me that they have the doctor being so involved in the little boy’s life already. The doctor and the mom obviously went on a date according to preview and took the kid with them and he wants the doctor as his dad. If that doesn’t happen the little boy is going be be heartbroken. Have them divorce before they bring an innocent little boy and an unborn baby into the mess that is all of their lives. I’m with you on the red flag. If her story was true her husband was cheating on her when she divorced him. Why would she do that to another woman when she experienced it herself. I’m not sure it’s truth. I’ve thought all along the little boy might be his from a one night stand. I know he probably isn’t but just have had that thought since the first time he ran into him on the bike.

JD has already heard his tear her dad down once so I think she’d be the better one and she can tell MR what happened. ☺️

I’m just ready for all the big reveals. #1 little D’s cheating #2 the long lost wife returning #3 MR and DH find each other #4 how they are going to bring MR and KS together finally. Can I hope MIL beats the crap out of little D’s back while he’s trying to be tough guy or better yet call the popo!!

I was afraid when it went from the 10 episodes everyone knew about to suddenly 11 they were going to throw a curve ball. I actually thought it was going to be a short episode showing maybe a year or 2 away from the divorces and the breakup. I thought it would be a where are they now type of episode. Personally I was okay with the ending but really think episode 10 should have been the final episode.
