At the end the sub said “the final episode” then a sub came on that said “what is happiness?” and then Makoto’s voice saying he wants to bring this to a proper close. The scene then shows Yo and Makoto looking at each other with Michi by herself making a video on her phone. Around Makoto looks to be kids so I wonder if she is at Yo’s nephew and niece’s school program since she seemed to be close to them when she and Yo babysat but why would Makoto be there unless perhaps Michi and Makoto are together at this point after a brief time apart? Maybe it was different scenes they put together to make it look like all 3 were in the same place in the preview to make it interesting??? They also show Kaede crying holding a small teddy bear. That made me wonder if she might have had a miscarriage and that’s why she threw herself into her work so she didn’t have to deal with her emotions but eventually killing her marriage. Maybe she hadn’t told Makoto she was pregnant so she went thru it by herself? I personally thought there was a proper ending with Michi actually putting herself first in her decision to be alone. Just to let you know, I like to speculate on what I see in previews and usually I have 0% correct in what I say. 😂😂😂

I agree with you. i just like to figure out why people are the way they are. Honestly there is nothing that justifies KS’s behavior as an adult. But I am so looking forward to his finally blowing his stack. I just wonder who it will be directed at. I somewhat hope it’s directed at his dad. But then I think I really hope it blows when little Dong threatens him again. Or maybe HR but I don’t think he’s do that to her even tho he should. Maybe once he releases all that built up pressure and angst he will be a new man. 🤞🏼

I don’t understand most of what KS is doing right now. I think he has to be overwhelmed by all that is happening around him that somehow he is in the middle of most of it. One line that stood out to me after the poop paint incident KS was talking to JD saying he was not interested in HR but they needed to give HR time to get her mind right and move on and then asked JD if she couldn’t give her time to do that. I wanted to say no KD she can’t wait that long because every time you do something nice for HR you are just extending the time JD has to wait in fear of HR finally seducing you. I truly wish I could figure out what the heck the writers think they’re doing with this storyline. I think everyone that watches the show is ready for HR to be relegated back to a now and then role. As an adult woman if a man tells you he doesn’t think of you as anything more than a sister or friend you’d be hurt but as a mature adult you would be able to move on and not keep bothering the man who doesn’t want you. Sadly I think HR is around the same maturity level as JD and acts a lot like someone JD’s age. Tomorrow we get to see “Charlie” take “Sunny” out on a date. Could someone please tell me why they think anybody wants to watch that happen. I’m so tired of them giving other “couples” so much screen time while the two leads usually see each other in passing when KS goes to his “master’s” house. I was appalled by her saying that. KS at least reacted to her saying it and MR told her she was out of line but JS is moving up on my do not like list. The only good thing she is doing is trying to trap little Dong so he can’t marry MR. I thought today when big Dong caught SS boxing or dancing that it will be so funny if he gets caught ratting on little Dong to SJ and he ends up fired from his job and she ends up in trouble with the family. That would truly be poetic justice for both of them.

I think MR and KS both have abandonment issues causing their lack of self esteem and letting people walk all over them. Neither one has had an easy life. I feel even MR, tho she was adopted by a rich loving mother, still wasn’t treated well by the chairman (because he didn’t want his daughter to be a single mother). As gruff as he is with her as an adult I wonder how scary that was as a child. And then came along SJ. She gets some shots in even now about her husband being the only natural born child of his mother. I think she feels superior to MR because she is married to the natural born son and probably hasn’t been the most loving sister in law. Then we have KS who was left with his grandmother as a baby by a father that didn’t want to grow up and be a daddy and still isn’t willing to be a dad to KS unless he needs something. At some point a young KS became his grandmother’s caregiver and basically lost whatever was left of his childhood or teenage years. Then the one person who he could count on as a friend gets pregnant and he marries her to give her baby his name. They lived together as a couple (maybe in name only) for 5 years and then she decides it’s all his fault she lost out on being a prima ballerina…like he was the guy doing the deed that needs to be done for her to get pregnant. She was the one that caused herself to give up her dreams because she had to be a mother to her baby. Then as a parting gift told him in so many words that he was useless. Because of the life he’s led up until now he has had to do something for everyone who supposedly loved him. When you think your worth is only what you can do for people to make them love you then that is a problem. I get mad at him more than MR even tho MR is being used by a wolf in sheeps clothing. I think KS is afraid to say no because he might offend someone and they won’t be his friend or love him anymore. I’ve rambled on so long I’ve forgot what my point was so I hope it makes sense to somebody. 😬

Btw when you said “fruit peeling mission” in your rant I laughed! Perfect description of an idiotic act.

Just finished watching episode 59. Where do I even start? I will start at the end for tomorrow’s preview. HR says to herself basically “it ain’t over til it’s over”. so that should be a clue about today. The female in-laws walk up on HR and KS but after MIL goes off on HR the in-laws tell KS to leave with them. Of course, he hangs back because HR asks him again what are WE going to do? This is where he should have said WE aren’t going to do anything but he will take care of it. Of course, he just says he will take care of it. SIL yells back and asks what’s he doing and for him to come on. HR stands there with a dejected look on her face. At this point HR has this whole fantasy going in her mind that the only reason KS won’t confess to her is because of JD. The only way he will get rid of her now is to completely cut her out of his life. But I look for HR to retaliate on JD and try to get rid of her. I have a sneaking suspicion that HR will be the one to tell JD KS is not her real dad. HR goes home and tells HS what happened and about her giving credit card to KS’s dad. HS asks why she continues to do things that make KS’s life harder. MIL confronts KS dad and in his explanation says that HR is crazy over KS (truer words have ever been spoken about HR). Father says KS has been without a woman for 10 years and it’s time for him to move on. He and KS leave the room and MIL beats her chest. MIL rushes to JD’s room and asks her what she knows. Again she brings up the fact that HR wants to take her mother’s place. KS should have never promised her earlier he would wait with her until he was old for her mother to come home. Again he lets JD believe that when her mother comes home she will take her place back in their lives as wife and mother and they will live happily ever after. Lawyer BIL keeps congratulating KS about HR and how they will make a great couple, yada, yada, yada. Father demands KS give him $200. KS says he has no money so dad keeps lowering the amount until they are down to $50 so Ks takes it out of his wallet, it seems to be his last dime, and hands it to his dad while apologizing for not having more to give him. Then tells him to start looking for a job and after KS leaves the room he says he wasn’t born to work, he was born to play. 😡 KS goes to chairman’s house and SJ is being nasty about the art academy MR works with and KS speaks up and says JD goes there and SJ says basically to stay out of his master’s family’s business. Yes, master is her word not mine. That’s when MR raises her voice and tells her she is out of line. I would like to know if SJ family was rich or just normal and she lucked into marrying into a rich family. I only wonder because I’ve known people that weren’t well off growing up but they marry well and most of them have the same attitude SJ has. Now I will get to my favorite part…JD and JP. He leans over her desk and helps her with a math problem and they keep stealing glances at each other. His hateful weasel looking friend walks up and ask if he likes JD and JP denied it then JD adds her two cents worth about not liking JP so he leaves and when he walks out the door he turns and looks back at JD while she is looking at him. 🥰 Pretty sad when the couple I’m most interested in is two 15 yo kids. 😂 There are still other things that happened but this is just a breakdown for those who are waiting to binge watch or have decided not to watch at all because of the dragging out of the story lines but still want to know what’s happening. I hope I don’t confuse you too much. 😃

The look on his face when he got caught by Dong sr was too funny! You know he’s in a panic wondering if bug Dong heard what he was saying.

Ohio is in our normal weather pattern of 80+ degrees for a few days then the next few days are in the 50s or 60’s. We had so much smoke from the Canadian wild fires last week the sun was bright but the smoke haze didn’t let it thru so it was dreary for a couple of days. The smoke just hung in the air. Had never seen it like that before and hope to never again.

I have ranted about it several times myself and the F-you look that HR threw over her shoulder at JD. I don’t understand the mixed signals either other than he is a man that has ignored his manly urges for over 10 years so the feeling he’s getting isn’t love or attraction to HR but he doesn’t mind being reminded he is a man and the attention she gives strokes his ego.

I’m just more long winded than you. I could have just said “it’s a case of money see, monkey do” and that would have been a good enough explanation. 😂😂😂

I agree with you about JD’s behavior but I can’t blame her for her actions. I blame KS, her grandmother, and aunt. KS and gma have always told her that her mother will come back if they wait long enough. They have given her false hope that mom will come home and take her place again as KS wife and her mother. The way she is treating her dad is the same way his MIL treats him. Where JD has a fear that he will abandon her, MIL has a fear of losing his financial support. If the MIL was concerned about KS as a person 8 years ago she would have encouraged KS to start considering a divorce and moving on as soon as the time period was up that he could divorce her daughter because she had deserted them. That excuse of keeping him there because her daughter is a horrible person and everything else she said in that conversation with him when his dad was pushing him to divorce were all excuses. If she really felt that her daughter was horrible and she felt bad about it she would have encouraged him to divorce the piece of trash as soon as it was possible.
The tactics JD is using against HR are the same way her grandma and aunt handle situations. Instead of being calm they fly off the handle and get into physical altercations and yelling matches against whoever they
feel has wronged them. KS gets upset and apologizes to whoever they treat that way but never stands up to his MiL and tell her he doesn’t want JD to witness it and think that kind of behavior is okay.
Sadly that is the only way JD knows how to handle a situation and tho KS barks at her a bit it’s never a strong reprimand so for never really getting into trouble because of her attitude and actions she feels like she can do anything and it will be okay. And even if her dad would actually reprimand her his MIL would undo any good the reprimand did. He is never going to have control over JD’s actions and outcomes until she no longer lives in the house with grandma.
I was surprised at how well JD reacted to MR being stern with her and felt bad that MR was the one that ended up sitting in the paint.
I think a better word that HR should have used instead of confused would be betrayed. This woman who she’s known probably since she was old enough to recognize people, who had always been nice to her and her dad had all of a sudden taken a special interest in her even encouraging her to participate in an art competition was now standing in her dad’s arms like a lover. HR then made it to where her dad couldn’t come to her immediately as she stood there heart broken because of the promises her dad has made about staying single and waiting for her mom however long it took for her to come home. So JD has now made HR enemy #1 and for HR’s actions that night I’m all for it.
Sorry another long winded post filled with run on sentences. I blame age and an anti-cancer drug I take daily for the fact that I have to get my thought out before I forget it so typically I just keep typing and put a period at the end of my thought. 😃

The Dong men think they already have taking over the company in the bag. That no one will be able to stop them. The only reason I would like to see that happen for just a day or two is to see Dong Sr reaction to getting stabbed in the back by Dong Jr and realize he’s been played by his own son for revenge.

I remembered one thing I wanted to say and I will try not to write a book. 😂 When KS is talking to JD and his voice is loud and harsh and HR runs in and grabs his arm and tells him she understands why JD did what she did and JD must be really confused. Confused about what? The fact that JD called HR out about being nice to her and helping her get into the art competition were only ploys so KS would see her helping his daughter. Is the confusion supposed to be because she thinks she and KS are in a relationship and she doesn’t understand that? I’m tired of HR acting like she is so concerned about KS. Had that been the case she would have never given his dad her credit card and let him buy whatever he wanted because that just made KS feel bad that she is stuck with $1000 credit card bill so he feels like he needs to pay it off. I know that he doesn’t like to owe anyone anything but seriously HR should have to pay for those shoes because that’s what she deserves for trying to use someone else close to KS to help her win KS love. I am surprised that he only put $1000 pair of shoes on that credit card and the debt KS feels responsible for his father who has absolutely no sense of responsibility. She has known KS a long time and knows his personality so she should have known any money his dad spent KS would feel the burden to pay her back. If she didn’t know it then she doesn’t know KS like she thinks she does. She is getting on my last nerve. I wish she and KS’s dad would skip off into the sunset together and put a lot of people out of their misery. Still ended up a book. 😬

I was shocked she raised her voice to JD at the art studio. Too bad she doesn’t ever say “Oppa” that forcefully and stand up for KS whenever little man tries to be a manly man and acts all tough towards KS.

Jr Dong needed a bib when MR showed up in that red dress. He looked like a wolf sizing up his prey. But when she asked him why he had come to her room and didn’t stay in the living room and he said “I missed you too much” I wanted to 🤮. I’m surprised that he is allowed to be in her bedroom without a chaperone or the door open. So much can happen that would force a marriage with him coming in to her bedroom as he pleases. The whole reason he bought her the bracelet (which I still think it’s the one the side piece gf tossed out the car window because it was a goodbye gift) was cringe worthy. I so hope they run into the side piece gf while MR is wearing it and says she was gifted one just like it as a goodbye gift from her bf but she had refused it.

I have been tired of HR’s total package for a while but the whining, baby talk, pursed lips that don’t move when she speaks wins the prize for most irritating.
I don’t know if KS has been without a woman’s “touch” so long that even tho he says he’s not interested, he’s reminded he is a man and his ego is a little inflated right now. So now he has a wee bit of confidence that he is attractive. I think with his SIL he’s been in the family for so long that he doesn’t even think twice about talking to her that way.
I will tell you that I have gotten to the point that I can’t stand KS’s dad and hate when he is in a scene. I’m so tired of his being ungrateful to KS for everything he does for him. I’m so tired of his whining how he was living comfortably at HR’s eating tons of Korean beef and now he is miserable and criticizing all the food they prepare. Dude isn’t paying a dime to live there but feels he has the right to complain. I’d have told him to pack his freaking bags and get the he** out of my house KS’s dad or not. Then he prompted JD to not tell her aunt that he used a face moisturizer sheet that belonged to her. I thought his character was kind of funny to begin with but the show has dragged on his storyline so long that he is irritating when all I needed to know was he abandoned KS at his grandma’s, treats KS like dirt, and he lives off rich women and is always looking for his next better meal ticket. I don’t need to see him romance Ding Dong. Move on with the story everyone wants to see instead of all these backstories nobody cares about.
Little Dong looked like a wolf watching a lamb today when MR showed up in that red dress. I’m also surprised that they just let him go into MR’s bedroom without a chaperone or at least leaving the door open.
SJ should have had a better strategy than just off the cuff asking if little Dong had another girlfriend. She should have kept her mouth shut and took a few pictures so he couldn’t cover his tracks so her hubby doesn’t run and tell him as soon he saw him. For as devious as she is, she can’t keep her mouth shut if she thinks she knows something on somebody.
I think the Dong men will hurry and put out a porridge meal to prove to the chairman how capable they are and so KS doesn’t get any accolades for helping the chairman. But I also think their porridge won’t be good and be a big bomb for HDF then they will replace it with the good recipe the chairman and KS has come up with.
I didn’t post much today because I feel like I give readers too much info so I’m trying to cut back. 😃 And the couple I watch for now is JD and JP. 💖

I think HS knows he doesn’t have a slight chance catching MR’s attention. I think HR told him that one day. That rock she wears to work everyday would be a little daunting to any man that couldn’t afford to replace it with a bigger and better ring. But unless I read her wrong MR seems like a person who isn’t one to flash her status except for her high end clothes she wears and not sure that she is really comfortable wearing those so I think she’d be satisfied with just a wedding ring.
