Yes, definitely watch! I think the 1st episode is a bit slow and I was really confused when they were interviewing all those people at the beginning. 😂 But it is the back stories of the ML and FL.

I told Sher1264 earlier the writers had more fun writing JH’s character so they just put KS out to pasture to bring in once in a while when they needed him for his 2-3 minutes speaking parts to make the story coherent then stuck him back out in the pasture again. I just found out that My Lovely Boxer executive producer was also executive producer on AOME so I hope he doesn’t let the writers ruin another good show I’m watching! 😔

I ended up watching the subs. If you aren’t watching the whole episode at least watch YJ going at SJ in the side dish store and then little D and SS in the break room together. That scene made me lol. MR tells KS that JD’s feelings must come first because she can understand why JD resents her being with KS so basically not to move out from the in-laws house. JD asks her dad if she can’t break up with MR and the pained look comes on his face and she had the nerve to say if you can’t tell her I will talk to her. Also says how can you abandon my poor mom? WHAT? But from conversation she had with JP I’m not sure she’s happy about hurting MR. Auntie hugging the bun and saying DH like a lovesick teenager make me 🤢. Looks like SD is actually going to help her out at the bakery after DH comes in early and bakes all the breads and doesn’t seem like it’s for anything in return but to help DH. SS and YJ are backing KS but YJ is happy he has changed his mind about moving out too. Both these women need to let KS go but as long as SJ is filling MaHD’s head with lies she won’t let go. JS has some disease that she needs a cell transplant and there are no matches so she has to ask family so I guess that’s why she came home and when MaHD asks her if she has talked to her sister in Alaska she got really snippy so wonder what’s going on there? Has she already contacted her sister about cell transplant and sister said absolutely not?

And HD shuts down any negative word that is said about her darling witch of a daughter.

Why does the SML look like his face is rubber to me? Bad makeup or bad plastic surgery or way too much Botox. Maybe it’s to go along with his character who seems like he is going to be a slimy snake.

I know exactly how you feel. As Lunkera said these writers didn’t know how to write a 120 episode drama so they made total mess of it. Evidently they didn’t use storyboards to logically plot out the needed amount of episodes to use on each story. Instead it has basically been the JH, auntie, and MaHD show with a little of the actual story we were promised dropped in every great now and then. I went back and watched the episodes I didn’t watch of TRHC and I honestly don’t think it’s as hairbrained as this show has become but again there are just drops of the lead couple together thrown in here and there. Both shows, that could have been so good, became big nothing burgers that my feelings about both are if I feel like watching I will but if I don’t I won’t have missed anything.

Why can’t KS be drunk? I would be fighting mad if my husband’s wife who pretended to be dead told me that any time she calls KS he comes running. And what is the big deal of DH living in the single room but I guess because he is MRs father it gives the witch someone else to prey on but I hope papa bear feasts on her ugly carcass and spits her back out.

This writing team has made KS into an imbecile. I hope they are happy with what they wrote but had it been me no way would I have written a drama that basically has nothing at all to do with synopsis given before it even aired. Maybe what Sher1264 said yesterday is correct and maybe KS and MR didn’t get along so they wrote as few scenes as they could for them to be together on set. Only reason that makes sense that you would make a cluster f of your drama.

Well, you know, karma, comes along every once in a while and gives someone what they deserve and she is deserving. If KS chooses to be her caretaker while she is going thru this then I am totally done and him, SJ, JD, and MaHD can all go to America and let MR find a man much more deserving of her. Let SJ die and KS come back to Korea and look up MR and she’s married and has kids so he finally sacrificed everything for his in-law family. (Thanks to LA_Drama for that ending idea.) Ending it this way KS gets what he deserves for being so dang wishy-washy and giving in to every in-law demand while with MR and MR gets a better man who loves her enough to stand up for her.

This show has gone from a hot mess to ridiculous. Between MaHD fake fainting again and SJ putting JD up to being her old brat self and destroying any character growth for her, now they have manipulated KS once again in to staying (dude, leave the brat with the persons that have made her that way and go live your best life). If he doesn’t tell MR’s family then he deserves what he is going to get from them because this hot mess is going to get messier up until the last episode because these idiots that call themselves writers have decided to completely destroy KS. Again this episode we spent more time focused on auntie hugging the bread saying DH than we did on the lead couple. I think just like on TRHC the writers have written characters resembling themselves in JH and SJ and have fallen in love with them and f*** the audience. They don’t really care if we like it or not because they are great drama writers and we are just peons watching. 🤮 I hope to never watch another drama written by this sorry excuse of a writing team. Everyone of us on this forum has had much better ideas than these idiots imaginations have come up with.

I told you earlier I was surprised he wasn’t pressing for top billing over the ML since the whole drama has been mainly about him.

What was wrong with what they were doing since it was so late? I would have been perfectly happy if the guy I liked was sitting across from me even if it was a convenience store. But the dress was a little much but she did look pretty and she even asked him if she was so I guess he felt like he had to take her someplace nicer.

It kills me when YJ doesn’t support her or makes her own point that doesn’t fit MaHD’s point of view and she slaps her hands off her or jerks away. I just really want MaHD to finally realize what a scum bucket her second daughter that she raised is.

As I said, it was just a thought that came to mind. My brain was and is too tired to think of the logistics of it. 🤔

I hadn’t watched for a couple of weeks but my curiosity got the best of me last evening. As I watched the scene where Grandma tells Elke about Haneul and Elke’s reaction was so shocked it made me wonder if something happened to JH before her parents adopted him that made him sterile and that is the reason she was so shocked that he’s saying a baby is his.

As we know I still have never had any thoughts that were anywhere close to the actual story but what a plot twist that would be!!
