He is righteous! That is what she admires in him. He is not corrupt and he doesn't have a hidden agenda. Boring isn't a bad thing. It is stable and predictable... perfect husband material in he real world. Men with adventure and deep stories are those who have suffered trauma and come with immense psychological baggage. NingEr has died once and this is her second life, so she is more cautious which is wise. Not i think it is for the best that she doesn't stay with ZhangZhe... she can't match his righteousness, she will bring him down.
