I'm an emotional wreck 😢 I never thought a BL could make me so heartsick! Koichi trying to convince Micchan that it's possible to have two people as your number one broke me! Micchan's pain was palpable and Koichi trying to comfort him was another level sad. Rio and Sora deserve so much recognition for their outstanding acting. Will buy a truckload of tissues before watching the last 2 episodes!
I think my heart is breaking as much as Mitchan because Koichi is fading away and time is running out. I'm an emotional wreck after watching this episode. It was so poignant that Mitchan is trying to convince himself that he prefers his own company. The last scene with Koichi with his arms around Mitchan spoke volumes about what they mean to each other. The story; the acting and the soundtrack makes this a memorable series. The last 3 episodes will undoubtedly leave me tearful mess!
I made a Rain-Payu BL Cut from the series and because of all the Rain-Payu fans I'm going to offer it here for…
Thx for putting together a Rain/Phayu cut! It will be great to be able to see their story without the frustration of seeing Sun kneel over cluthing his chest for the 10th time; watch the weird cello/guitar combo and of course the apples!
I can't believe just how breathtakingly heartbreaking this series is. This down to the poignancy of the script; the beautiful cinematography and the outstanding acting by the 2 leads. Koichi's outburst and Mitchan's response had me tears. Their first kiss and acceptance of each other hit me hard because we know that this is a flashback scene. I still remember last week's line when Mitchan said: "Koichi is Koichi...alive or dead. Mitchan's narrative of how much he cared about Koichi all along gave this line more meaning. It's rare that I get so invested in a series so early on but Mitchan & Koichi's story has hit me hard because I know there isn't going to be Disney ending and yet I want to watch it until the end. I loved Komiya Rio as Tanaka in Takara Amagi Khun but his acting in this series another level. Inoue Sora is also excellent as Mitchan. I hope I see them both in another series. I'm ready for a another crying fest next week!
This is really good! But honestly, isn't it very rare a japanese BL not being good? It's very weird to think that…
Mitsuru seems really alone. It was cold the way his father walked past him without acknowledging him. I wonder if the ending leads to Mitsuru somehow dying and being reunited with Koichi for eternity! I say this because it seems like there is no one to miss Mitsuru if he were to disappear! Clearly, I want them somehow not to be separated! 😭
The first episode left me in tears and I wasn't sure if I was ready to watch another bl with a sad ending. However, there something beautiful and heart wrenching about the bond between Mitsuru & Koichi. The 2nd episode was slow but is still heart wrencing in the way Mitsuru looks after Koichi. I so want the improbable happy ending and I'm willing to dispense with reality for it to happen. I know that it will be painful to watch Mitsuru eventually say goodbye to Koichi but I'll willing to shed more tears. It's hard to believe that the actor who plays Koichi is the same person who was Tanaka in Takara Amagi Kun. He is an amazing actor because both roles are so different. I love the soundtrack too because the songs are haunting and reading the eng translation of the lyrics makes them even more meaningful. I usually like to watch light fluffy bls but for some reason this series has captured my attention. Looking forward to finding out what direction the story will take in the coming weeks.
Love love love this series! It's a perfect BL for me with the right amount of angst; humor and chemistry between the two leads. I wish the series was longer but maybe that would ruin it! I've not seen Kim and Yoon's previous series, Kissable Lips, but I will definitely check it out! I also love the soundtrack. I hope Kim & Yoon work on another project again. I'v only recently discovered the world of BL but I ove Korean BLs for their simplicity. Cherry Blossoms After Winter is another Korean series that I loved and one that I will definitely rewatch in the future.
😭 So sad that only 1 more episode to go! First & Khao are amazing together and I really hope that they get another series together! I will also miss Neo and Louis! An announcement of a second series of Eclipse would be the perfect ending!
I wonder if the ending leads to Mitsuru somehow dying and being reunited with Koichi for eternity! I say this because it seems like there is no one to miss Mitsuru if he were to disappear! Clearly, I want them somehow not to be separated! 😭
