I enjoyed the format of this show a lot, it felt fresh and intriguing. The greatest strength of this show is how realistic the characters feel as INDIVIDUALS, not so much as pairs or units. There was definitely some messaging problems but to sum up the issue of this show i would say that EVERY girl in this show was an emotional terrorist. The things that they would put the people around them through was bewildering to watch. Searching for individuality and self meaning should not come at the cost of the sanity of the people around you and us as viewers.

Ive never seen chaewoon act with ANY emotion so im really scared about him playing as the priest, especially since the priest has a pretty upbeat personality.

aghh so siwan only has a supporting role? :((
He’s probably going to play the priest, and in the manhwa thats a major role. Its not your typical main female and male lead dynamic. If its anything like the og story we will see plenty of his character.

Title Save Me
Agree, I'm confused with the strong and smart female lead tags and the latest comments. It might be the effect…
That tag was def there way before iotnbo. I feel like its in reference to her mental strength, I don’t know many characters that would be able to withstand all those years of trauma.

SYJ's acting is better here or maybe this character showed off her acting skills compared to Lawless Lawyer. I…
Yea seo yea jis an actor that has steadily grown with every project. While she was already a good actor in lawless lawyer, this character and show gave her more room to flex and show off more nuance. Even though she was the female lead in lawless lawyer, she was kind of pushed to the side to support the male lead. While here shes an equal protagonist, giving her a fleshed out character to work with.

The whole mystery aspect was completely left unsolved, and that kind of sucks. But id like to think that was intentional as its kind of similar to the moms book. That being said, season 2 mini??

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
Overall this has been a great story about 3 people, their trauma, and the overcoming of it. I think the biggest critique would definitely have to be the moms storyline. They just didn’t give it to us. We can make our own inferences of what happened but none of that is cannon and it kinds feels like they just left us out to dry. It had such an interesting build up but then her character and conclusion kind of felt flat. Every other aspect around that was great though so it kinda sucks. Overall I’d give it a 8.5/10 for everything it accomplished before that.

With the way they keep referencing my darling Clementine and the tale of two sisters it makes me think that maybe the head nurse is related to the mom that way.

Did anybody notice that voice that said something like serves you right for coming here and also the person looking…
I was under the impression that it was the shadow that follows her from episode one. Aka her mom. But idk

Yall i promise you its okay to dislike the fl. Regardless of her disorder hurtful actions are still hurtful. To the people who decide to stick to it to the end, good. At this point we should all be aware that this is a character driven story rather than plot, so its going to be a JOURNEY to say the least.

They do that with obsessive male leads as well.
And they’re wrong as hell, painting sociopaths as cuddly bears that just need hugs. Its such a mess of a trope, and hopefully they do something different here.
