I was falling behind cause I had to take a break after episode 8. With Ji Juan and commander Zhou, it was too heavy on my heart. Picked up, and binged 6 episodes. I'm not a linguistic expert, but I heard a lot of different languages, not sure if it was the dialects or the accents. It just sounded really interesting. I think it was Cantonese that Seven spoke a few lines? It was really funny coming out of her mouth. π€£π€£
Sigh, I kind of understand why she's so emotional and wreckless, like her mom died and then caught her dad in…
The pace of the plot is super fast, so FWZ has to read the letter to drive the plot forward. It would make more sense if her mom told her dad to give her the letter when he feels that it's the right time. And I also do feel bad for the dad. I felt he is somewhat inferior to the mom and her family based on his background, why else would he let Wangzhi take her mom's last name instead.
Finished all 4 episodes in one go! I thought period dramas will be slow in the beginning with all the character developments, but surprisingly, this drama was very fast paced. So far, Im loving it, and looking foward to Fang Wanzhi's next chapter into Shenzhen.
This drama has potential to appeal to a diverse audience. Seven Tan is a fantastic casting choice. Shenzhenβs…
Couldn't agree more!! Seven Tan excels in these kind of roles. I'm also fascinated to see the growth of Shenzen through the perspective of Seven's character.
Agree, he is a good actor. Just like Seven, I find his acting to be very natural, and not overly exaggerated.
Such a powerful line, full of meaning. My expectations are skyhigh. Can't wait till 03/07!!
