Iβm still on episode 5, but why is everyone said itβs good? The book is great, I love the book, but the drama…
The novel is good, with its own strengths and weaknesses, and the drama which is made based on the novel is also good and it also has its own strengths and weaknesses.
The drama is indeed based on the popular novel, but it was made to be different from the novel on purpose.
Adaptation doesn't have to be largely similar, does it?
Despite the big difference, both the drama and the novel still can be enjoyed to the fullest.
Enjoying the book and the series is like enjoying two cheeseburgers from two different restaurants.
One restaurant put american cheese on it, while the other one use cheddar cheese.
Whichever cheeseburger version that you like, it doesn't mean that the other version is not delicious just because you dislike it.
I'm not fond of horror either but still can watch this series.
At some parts, I indeed closed my eyes but it's really worth to watch.

It is also much darker, much scarier than the series.

There are no additional nor cut scenes in the 38 episodes.
Previously, it was 78 episodes with 20 mnts duration, then they re-packed it into 38 episodes with 40 mnts duration for the international broadcast.
The difference is they removed the NRTA approval and also added the opening-ending song on each episode.
Thank you
