Don't worry, nobody will come at you. This series is quite different than the novel in many aspects; the storyline, characterisation, the world setting, and more.It has been set up as a journey to restore the game to its original format, so it's obvious that the ending follow this beginning.They made RLZ as NPC, a program that created to assist Ling Jiushi in restoring the game. The ending would have been weird if suddenly he got to be exist after the restoration.I think the ending is a sweet closure for LJS to fulfil his dream and his promises to his loved ones including to RLZ. The novel has its own sweet ending following its storyline from the beginning, so does the series. Eventhough the series is adapted from the novel, it doesn't have to be the same, right?This is just my point of view. Thank you 😊👌🏼🌻
