The novel this drama was based on was brutal…. ultra realistic, unnerving. The author is also a lawyer, I wonder…
Marriages breaking up are always 'brutal, ultra realistic, unnerving'! NY's marriage won't be over once they are divorced. At least that isn't my experience. He will continue to try and control her life. Especially by using their son against her!
That part was sad. I don't believe she never understood what was happening in her marriage. Sometimes we do things…
One can do that! Often it's a response to emotional blackmail. "If you don't do what I say, or keep quiet, I will withdraw my affection." I hope a lot of young women watch this and see how that situation can end up.
I burst into tears when ML mother said; I have been pretending all my life that I feel like I became a fool...…
I hope she finally gives that revolting, abusive husband the boot. Abuse isn't just physical, he is undermining her self-confidence every time he opens his mouth!!!
Do you some sort of hidden agenda regarding this series?
Do you know the saying...the pot calling the kettle black? If all you care about are 'ratings' then you are doing yourself a disservice. There have been very high ratings for dramas that have limped along with a mediocre script and actors who have lost heart in the entire production. Ratings are the least of a drama's claim to quality!!
I thought the same when I tried to watch Love between Fairy and Devil and didn't continue, but I enjoy Love Game…
Ding Yuzi just gets better and better. I have to say that he is outstanding in Love Game... Why not concentrate on what is good about a show instead of descending into 'my team is better than yours...so there!!!'
Now now, and how do you know that those comments are from Zhao Lusi fans? You’re so sure about it, but there’s…
You may be a fan of Lusi, but saying 'She is the best actress in China.' Is a bit overt the top. I'm neutral in the Esther and Lusi nonsense, but that remark even annoyed me! Both actresses have a very long way to go to achieve international recognition.
What a nasty, vile side of Chinese society is revealed by 'fans'! I have travelled to China three times and I love the country. What sickness has invaded some of the Chinese people that they 'hate' people they have never met, never will meet and who are pretending to be someone else. This pretending is supposed to bring entertainment into people's lives! Do they charming and polite people I have met in my travels have a Vampire complex; whereas, at night. they turn into esteem-sucking rubbish??? I doubt that very much! This also happens to South Korean artists and entertainers! China has one of the most respected leaders in the world. BRICS is going to save the world! You foolish people need to appreciate what you have instead of living in a fantasy land!
This is not propaganda. The Kuomintang were war-profiteers rather than fighters against the Japanese invaders.…
No comment is history. It is easy to see that you live in the US. Communists weren't 'pure goodness' they had to fight not only the Japanese but the Chinese traitors, which included the Koumintang. That fight didn't leave much room for 'goodness', it was brutal.
As for 'a truly democratic country', I have a feeling that you live in the US,. Which is a always boasting about being democratic, but shows time and time that it is anything but... Have you heard of Donald Trump? Would you call his years as 'uncensored'??
This show is great if you're looking for something very action-oriented with a lot of good fight scenes. The story…
This is not propaganda. The Kuomintang were war-profiteers rather than fighters against the Japanese invaders. The Communists were the only ones who actually realised that this war had to be fought with everything they had. The Chinese rallied behind the Communists because of this fact. If the Kuomintang and Shek had the interests of ordinary Chinese people on their minds, the outcome from WWII would have been different
The Kuomintang deserved to be driven out of the mainland.
I hope a lot of young women watch this and see how that situation can end up.
I suggest we drop it.
