I don't think anyone has mentioned him here before :)Maybe one of the reasons he hasn't shown up in the drama…
They definitely could've gone somewhere with it but maybe the disgruntled "ex" causing problems for a young married couple is too similar to Queen of Tears. In fact that may have been subconsciously where I got the idea and less from the scene in question.

Well that's my understanding of it too but when I first saw the scene I read more into it than that. It felt like the writer was setting up the villain. I guess it was just me :)
To be honest I'm a little disappointed. We can assume that BSE was trying to save HHJ from a much worse fate but it would have been more satisfying to see for ourselves what the alternative would've been for her.

It's kind of odd to me that he existed at all if the writer had no intention of going somewhere with his character. It's not really an issue in terms of the plot. It just feels like something the writer set up and then dropped.
I am genuinely concerned that ML will die. Not right away. I know he will survive at first, but I'm thinking he'll die later either because of ES or female villain whose name I can't remember. I don't think I can watch the last episode unless I know it's a happy ending. I'll come here first for spoilers.
is it possible BSE is the one who told the sister he is not the real biological son because he didn't want to go ahead with the marriage?
