Title Between Us
3 things that bother me1; Sea is on the swim team? With that kinda body? Seriously?2: wins hair. Jeez couldn't…
Oh, yes, me too to 2. and 3. Probably difficult to shoot with growing bleached hair and keep continuity.
And with the makeup I just couldn't...thought at first he felt bad because of that ;). Then I got that he was supposed to be the Alex from UWMA. Too bad that actor isn't available anymore.

Even tho boss said this EP 14 feels like not original from the novel.. but I thought daddy scene for PhayuRain…
Yes, he said it is not from the novel. I just hope it is a feel good ending. And I hope to see the cast in other projects soon.
On Love in the Air: Special Episode Nov 20, 2022
I'm so looking forward to the special episode or episode 14. They said this will be the real ending. Yes, I also think it will be some kind of vacation :). They teased that there will be more scenes with all 4, which I missed in the series, too.

And I have to say the main cast has really good chemistry behind the scenes. But they are all different from their roles in my opinion. But in a good way.

Lol, I was wondering what your take on this episode would be. Agree with the positive. The actor of Sky is really…
So I rewatched the episode and reread that part in the novel. It is more difficult in the series to show how Rain cares about his friend. In the novel you read his thoughts and why he did let Pai take care of Sky as he truly believes that he likes Sky. He said himself that he was pursuing Sky. And for many outcries over Rain's behaviour, Sky forgives him so fast. He understands the work they have (none of their friends visit him because of their work) , he didn't tell Rain about his and Pai's past, but he knows that Rain did try to find someone to take good care of him. And that is what Pai did.

hmm I personally feel like she just romanticizes it. Many of the SA situations in her books/series are very romantic…
I understand how you feel. I don't agree with it, because that is what creativity is. Mostly people don't experience everything they write about, but they have the ability to tell that story or the point of view that is different from them. I can write about murder, crime, horror or love, without having done any of it. But you can critisize me if it's not written well.

As for Mame, I was really shocked about the TharnType story and description. Type should have been in therapy since his sexual assault as a child. And him being homophobic because of that was in my opinion not realistic. And then don't get me started with the Tar and Lhong characters.
I just wanted to answer to you. Yeah, probably not the right place for this conversation, but everyone can share their opinions here I hope as long as we're respectful to eachother.

I think you are hoping for more representation which is a good thing. But I don' t see how the authors sexual orientation or experience has anything to do with how you will like the story. If she likes to write BL stories and is good at it that it will be published for us to read or see that is good I think.

I liked the way this ep. played out! GREAT use of the flashback to some of Sky's traumatic history, as well as…
Lol, I was wondering what your take on this episode would be. Agree with the positive. The actor of Sky is really good, so much facial acting on point. And I was glad how the trauma scene was shown, not too mzch, but as a viewer you can kinda guess what happened. Also Pai's character was was shown so well. His interaction with his siblings I liked a lot. The caring elder brother who raised them. It maybe hints to why he will be the right person for Sky.

As for your points about Rain. It is a bit contradicting sometimes. He really is a bit stupid, and his thoughts are a bit messy to result in some of his actions. But he was shown like this in the first parts, too. I don' t think that promise was that real. I don't think Sky really believes him to keep to it. Also his intentions are mostly to help his friend. And that's why Sky will forgive him most of the times. And I think he knows that as well. As for the call...I think he could assume from all the texts that it was Pai? Or then when he knew that it was him, he really believed that he will take good care of Sky. The whole have to get my work done stuff is just a bad excuse for the plot I think. Although, we know that Rain has time management issues. And if Payu wasn't there to bring it to him, this was his, in his mind, only solution.
I still think he is a good friend to Sky from what was shown about their relationship. What I was wondering was about their talk after he learnt about Sky and Pai and his ex. Do you think he should have told him about being gay? I mean why should he? It shows that, although Sky has been a good friend to Rain, supporting him in almost everything, he held himself back with Rain about all his negative experiences. So I look forward to see if they will show their friendship evolving to a level where they can talk about this.

I am reading the novel right now, english translations. And this part is explained more from Prapai's POV. First…
I didn't get the "slut" impression from the novel. I can't remember that he had a lot of one night stands or friends with benefits. I think he likes sex and being a, like some here described as, "power bottom" , but was too traumatized from his ex to really express that until now. Did you guys watch the bts from episode 8 on youtube? It was interesting that they were working with an acting coach and MAME in how to convey the feelings of the characters. And they seemed to really have a good time working together.

You said it rightly that he appeared scared. That is due to the actor's ability to show his two sides. Sky shows his nice and innocent face to his friends, but when he talked to Prapai with his "cold" look that is more himself I guess. Of course, because of his bad experience in the past. And that is also what Prapai finds interesting. So he already saw more of the true Sky than Rain. And him being more aggressive was also his choice. Although I believe it is his way of coping with the situation and to be or appear as less of a victim.

Geez! It seems we're back to that same old discussion of whether Sky was forced to have sex with Prapai. Hmm!…
I am reading the novel right now, english translations. And this part is explained more from Prapai's POV. First he helped Sky, because he assumed he was friends with Rain who he saw as Prayu's love interest. In the episode he asked him if he was was a friend of that guy (Rain). Then, his proposition was more of a tease, a joke. He didn't think Sky would agree to it. And then he was intrigued and obviously game :). So I don't think you can say he forced him, because he couldn't imagine or know about Sky's trauma or angst. I like the whole dynamic of this couple, but only because Sky will love him and they will be together. Otherwise he would be seen as such a creepy stalker.
