I love her for that, yes I love that she is so dumb and naïve it becomes funny.
However, even though I was annoyed with her attitude at first, I regretted my decision. Because afterwards, she becomes so serious it crushed me, and she experienced so much, she was far from the ignorant girl she was before. I loved the character development, but honestly, I missed the old her, even if she changed for the better of course. I missed the carefree, stupid but funny, Orchid. Please, turn off your "cringe button" and just have a good laugh.
Second, people are not satisfied with the ending. Personally, I loved it. They are both alive and in love. He kisses her and in the special episode, DFQC, says they are married and are living a happy life, I mean what do you want more ?
