I’m as much a fan of this series as the next guy but the construction site scenes got me confused to the point…
He did get hit by debris, but he was more cold/in shock more than anything. The site workers also clearly left because there was a hurricane(?) and again he most likely had a fever or something from the cold which is why he passed out again in the morning. I feel like this was very clear, maybe that’s just me… but I’ve also seen a this as a very common trope.
GMMTV needs to stop doing the 2026/2027 line up events bc how many shows have gotten cancelled or recasted??? Just drop the shows trailer when they're finished being filmed and stop playing with our hearts :(

There are only three shows i've read the novel before hand which are Payback the Series, ABO Desire, and this (all ofc after watching the first three eps). However, this show is a cultural shock if you haven't seen dark romance before. The bare minimum is SOME exposure of dark romance more than spoilers. Hell I've read dark romance before and the show STILL shook me. The trailer is not transparent enough... I know for a fact I would've dropped this show today If I didn't know it was an adaption to a Chinese novel.
In all seriousness, I like the way they changed the script for the adaption. This is one of those shows where you HAVE to read the novel first / be a dark romance reader to be okay with the contents of the show. They played it down enough to be (almost) watchable for the average person, but lets be honest: its a Chinese bl that's old AF, of course rape will happen. I honestly think the way they changed the script fits Ing's character a LOT more, because its clear he's a brat who just wants to get what he wants in some form. Plus hes attracted to Yok enough that as long as he can fuck him after Ing dont gaf.
this show needed at least 3 more ep's... It took till the last ep to get invested in the high schoolers, wtf happened with the mom... and chain????? like boy needs therapy and Nu needed at least 30 more minutes of screen time to beat the shit out of Sun. but no fr WTF HAPPENED WITH THE MOM?????????
This show is KILLING ME... You have to watch the uncut version, TV version does not do the show justice (this is how dedicated I am lmaoo). It's soooo trophy but it's also soooooo good. My only beef is how tf in a 50 minute ep, only like 20 minutes is the main couple 😖 and 20 is being generous cause we only actually get like 10 minutes of new content with them together. This show should've been a binge watch but I'm in too deep now to wait😞
