I think this episode was better than the first by far. I think the acting could be better, but storyline is good. It seems like it will be messy relationships and I am okay with it. While I agree that Nine and Dao have chemistry, the directing of the love scene could have been better. It seemed odd with the music placement and the movements of the two. I am wondering how these two will move towards each other since they are in relationships. A good episode for what it was.
Guys for those who watched ep 1....I still havent watched ep0 is it mandatory for the show?
They do a lot of flashback to ep0. That could either enlighten or confuse you. Honestly, I gathered from those flashbacks that they had something going on, which is basically the gist of ep0.
what have ben cutted? (i didnt read the novel, altough dont answer if its huge spoiler)
They omitted scenes where Kinn and Porsche argued at a friends house. However, that wouldn't have worked in the show, since Porsche was only seen in college from that first episode. It didn't flow well.
I like how the show is moving. If you have read the book, you would probably be disappointed that they have cut somethings out. However, the flow and the OMG moments have been amazing and I like the changes they are making to the story. I can't wait to see how they will progress with it. I want to see how Kim's investigation is going, because it seems like it's on the back burner for the past few episodes.
Episode one was a build up of the past three months and seeing how Daonuea was handling being ignored basically by Nine. Daonuea came off a bit of a child. He actually whined about the egg. Like bro be thankful that he got you breakfast. The rest of the episode introduced the characters and his constant thoughts revolving Nine. I do feel bad for the new guy, since he is an obvious rebound. The addition of Nine towards the end was annoying. I really wish we could have had his story in this episode. I'm guessing episode 2 will basically tell his side of the story.
The acting and dialogue were okay, but overall it was an okay episode. I think once we get Daonuea and Nine together we will see the pacing move faster and the chemistry be more on point.
I was not a fan of Gi Jeongs ending, but the sad part is that this happens all the time. How many people have to deal with family issues like that to be with the one they love? I think he is weak and doesn't stand up for her. At times his quiet reserved personality reminds me of Gi Jeongs father. He even said he he himself was weak and I think that's the case for this guy. I don't even know if he even liberated himself. Also, what sister is that involved in their siblings lives. Like it doesn't even seem like she is even trying to meet people.
Also, the music in these shows are really messing up My flow with these shows.
