We could see Yi Chen's pain in one episode and it broke our hearts but imagine what Lu Feng went through in those 5 years without even knowing where his lover was😭
Honestly, Episode 9 was absolutely fantastic. It's my favorite episode after Episode 1. All the heartbreak, despair, guilt, regret, and resentment were emanating from Aylio so strongly that I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire episode, crying along with them.
And that bed scene was so hot, but what impressed me the most was the moment when Lu Feng said that there was someone waiting for Yi Chen while he was happy with someone else all those years.
I was cursing Lu Feng before that, but that scene made me see things from his perspective and understand the suffering he endured after Yi Chen left him. I don't agree with how he exacted his revenge. It was completely wrong but I could understand why he went to such lengths to torture Yi Chen. He was hurting so much that he wanted Yi Chen to feel the same pain and understand what he had gone through.
I wish Yi Chen had explained that he didn't love Zhou Lan and hadn't even touched her during their marriage. Lu Feng had always been insecure, and he believed that Yi Chen had truly forgotten about him.
I'm glad to know that after Yi Chen takes the bullet, Lu Feng will realize his mistakes and perhaps ask for forgiveness. I'm so excited for tomorrow!
I just watched up to episode 2, and somehow I couldn't feel the chemistry between the main leads because of Scent's character. He seemed to have no sympathy for Gaysorn at all. It put me off watching the next episodes. Does his character develop, or does he basically stay the same? I mean, I know he'll fall in love with him, but will he reflect on his and his family's actions and do anything about them? It baffled me that he didn't even bat an eye when his uncle told him about using a human to make perfume
I am dying to watch this series but I can't bring myself to see the suffering
It's not every day that this kind of show is made and the chemistry between Ayden and Elio is really worth watching. Maybe try watching a few episodes and give it a chance

Yes, that scene painted him in a new light. He must have never expected Lu Feng to ignore him because it had never happened before. I'm glad Lu Feng acted as if they were just classmates. Yi Chen should have seen it coming after putting him through so much misery for such a long time
