Why would she be 'forced' to take this role? I don't understand why some people think like that. She is not a minor actress. As far as I know, she and Allen Ren have been accepting projects that are not from HR for quite some time already. And this is big IP. Not to mention Cheng Yi as a co-star who has huge rising popularity. Can't she change her mind if she finds more good opportunities for herself? I think you need to respect her choice as her fan. Criticizing someone without evidence based on spectulations is not beneficial to anyone, especially after YZ confirmed herself for the role.

As I said, all the characters here are selfish that there is not a single likeable character. ML has psychotic behaviors and FL doesn't act her age. They have zero communication for their problems.
No character in this drama feels remorse for their unreasonable behaviours but always hope for the best for themselves. Forgiveness easily went to those who tried to make sexual assualt, abandoing the family or kidnapping. I know lakorns are always nutty as a fruitcake but this one must be the worst.

There are many cringy scenes between the main leads. A lot of gazing in the eyes between them made me really uncomfortable to watch the drama. I don't usually compare two dramas but this is a spinoff of GGS so I can't help thinking about the first one while watching this. Chemistry between Wu Bai and Ai Qing is not natural and good as GGS's CP. I think there are more passionate kiss scenes here but it didn't help their chemistry. I also prefer the previous cast for some characters like Weng Hao, Mi Shao Fei and Oo Qiang. I don't like the new cast for SP team. They don't have enough chemistry to feel their friendship. Plus, I agree with one reviewer about the setting. KK headquarters here looks cold and lifeless. And the way LYT acts as AQ is not good as the girl in GGS but I understand why they changed the cast for her character. LYT looks better with HYT.
Although the plot is simple and quite boring at times, I enjoyed the humuor it gave especially in the second half of the drama. KK team members and WB's grandfather are still lovely and funny here. There are soooo many sweet scenes of the main couple so those who like them won't have to skip scenes. Wang An Yu as Shen Zhe is a good choice. I didn't like him very much in Forever Love but his acting here fits very well with Grunt's character; aggressive, funny and childish. One more good thing here is there are not many flashbacks about Solo team as GGS.
All in all, I recommend this drama to those who like fluffy dramas with a nice plot without annoying love triangles and angsty characters.

I know this is big IP and they expected much success from this drama. Then they should give more attention and care to this. Right? I also heard there are internal problems in HR like financial problems and power struggles. That's really frustrating. I had high expectations for the cast of this drama but now FL hasn't been decided and makeup photos were leaked all over weibo before the official announcement.... Such a mess. No wonder people say HR is going bankrupt. Their management system is just trash!

I can't find words for how much I dislike Huanrui. They mistreated YBY and now even Cheng Yi. The company don't respect him and his value. This man deserves good projects and partners.But he can't even have a smooth filming for his new drama for the unknown reason? They shouldn't have announced the booting ceremony date if things hadn't been handled properly yet.

I'm sorry but the synopsis is pretty weird and funny.

Ikr. In this whole mess, the writer has the biggest responsibility for this. But he just went into hiding without any proper apology to Knets and the whole cast and crew. Of course SBS and YG should have checked the content of the drama at first for the censorship issues as well.

OMG. Such a huge age gap!

WTF did they just do to this drama? I've been eagerly waiting for this drama for many months. Now the audience will never see it just after 2 episodes? Many Korean dramas these days have been disappointing so I kinda lost interest in them. BUT this is the only K-drama that I'm most motivated to watch. Can't SBS find better solution than cancel the entire drama? I'm sure all the cast and crew must have worked very hard as this is a fantasy drama. Because of this stupid controversy about history in the fictional drama, they worked their ass off for nothing but public hate? I'm so sorry for them.
As I've finished ranting, I would like to say I understand Knets for their anger about historical inaccuracy. Chinese and Korean people have always been in intense arguments about their culture and histories. I think it is their right to protect their culture. Although we know this is just a fiction, we can't argue that these fictions are also important in terms of political and cultural awareness. That's why we became interested in Korean and Chinese's history and culture through their movies and dramas. So I wouldn't blame Knets but the scriptwriter and director for their lack of foresight. They should have been careful about the blacklash they can get for combining Chinese and Korean culture.

Agreed. 16 episodes were too much for this story. But if they executed it better, it could have been better than this. The villain was very predictable. Also, how MST overcame his trauma and accepted KMY as his family member were very simple and kinda easy. I mean I expected more for the way he gradually solve these problems.

I didn't intend to watch this at first but saw some scenes of the second couple on Douyin. They are so sweet. I thought the girl was pretty cute and just realized that she was Tong Nian's friend in Go Go Squid. She has become much more beautiful.
Thanks to all the commenters who clarified that this is not a remake of DOTS. I didn't like it. Hope this will be a good drama. I'll wait until it finishes airing.

The drama never showed the existence of the real Mo Xiu Ran after the cat prince took over his body. It was just the cat who was interacting with the female lead all the time. And they fell in love later. He said that he got all the memories of the real MXR. Yes. He stayed in MXR's body until the end. Although the drama never explained clearly about it, I think the real MXR was already dead when the female lead met him in the forest and his body was later owned by the cat.

Wow. Did you rewatch the entire drama 20 times or just your favourite scenes? Anyway, I pretty much admire your love for this drama.

Ikr. I was so happy and satisfied when Lize palace's chief came and scolded all those hypocrites who were neglecting Madam Dongfang's evilness and endlessly torturing Sifeng. I don't think they were just stupid. They were also irresponsible. They wanted to put the blame on Sifeng for all the misfortune caused to them. I really hated all of them.

Honestly, all the characters here are so selfish that I can't root for any of them. But I'm enjoying the chemistry between Porche and Now. They should act together in a rom-com drama after this.

Ikr. She is so crazy and creepy that I can't even watch her face whenever her psychopath-mode is on.

It's a good drama but I think it's overrated. The creepy vibes from first few episodes made the drama pretty interesting and the leads had good chemistry. Kim Soo Hyun's acting was top-notch. Moon Sang Tae was very cute too. Although the plot was fine, it became more and more boring that I had to fast forward many times to finish the drama.
