Li Qin's character only loved Wang Talu but she died in the end.
I skipped to the end to know the ending. Despite the bad ending, I'll still watch this for Wang Talu and Li Qin. As you said, we need to prepare tissues. Some people say even the first two episodes are very sad.

Yep but if they follow the history, Wang Talu's character will die in the end. But here, MZX was dead and ZYW will have to spend the rest of his life alone. I just realized the initial trailer foreshadowed the ending of ZYW. He said he was doomed to be lonely and it was right.

This is a good thriller/action drama. It kept me guessing and interested from the beginning to the end and all the cast fit their characters. Production quality is also good. Although there are a few plotholes, the main actors' acting made up for that.
