Do you realize how hypocritical your comment is? You think Ayla Flower is rude because she hoped ZYX to be out of cast. What about you? You used Yuan Bingyan's name to compliment ZYX by excusing yourself with the word 'right'. You even said "Yuan Bing Yuan got into the conversation was quite normal". Why do you think it is normal to mention YBY while talking about ZYX?
Of course it is your right to comment on any actress's acting. But you should criticize YBY's acting on Love and Redemption page, not here. You just compared two actresses' acting because you wanted to prove ZYX is better than Bingyan. It was very rude and unnecessary. You could just say how you likes ZYX's acting to defend her. But you deliberately used BY's name for some reason.
You also admitted "some of us here are rather sensitive toward LAR CP fans". That is the problem. You are just very obsessed with this CP fans thing. So you think everyone who dislikes ZYX is CP fan and can't respect them to the extent of making an argument about this. I guess you should learn to practice the 'etiquette' that you mentioned yourself first. You don't even realize the conversation becomes this long because you guys started talking about irrelevant matters like CP thing and Yuan Bingyan.
You even want to blame Jasmine and me for saying our own opinions. Honestly, this conversation should have been ended as a normal short debate only if it focused on ZYX. Plus, Jasmine and I already ended our discussion since yesterday. You and Mira Vong came to talk to me so I replied. For your information, you're just attacking the fans who don't like Zhang Yuxi by accusing them as CP fans who just want to see Bingyan and Cheng Yi together. You don't need to understand anyone. But you should respect other people's opinions which are different from yours. Me and Jasmine have already talked clearly that it is not Cheng Yi and Bingyan's chemistry that make us dislike Zhang Yuxi, but her acting. Honestly, their chemistry has nothing to do with Zhang Yuxi's acting skills. I wanted to watch this drama when the female lead was once rumoured to be Jin Tian. Also, you have to know that the ones who initially talked about Cheng Yi and Bingyan CP in this whole conversation were not Ayla Flower, Jasmine and me. It was you guys who wanted to defend Zhang Yuxi. I guess the one who still can't move on from Cheng Yi and Bingyan's chemistry is you because whatever you come up with to talk about Zhang Yuxi is Cheng Yi and Bingyan CP. Anyway, I respect that you like Zhang Yuxi, and you need to respect my dislike toward her. It's that simple.

Of course I'm also waiting for a reunion of Cheng Yi and Bingyan although it may take time. There are many good signs for Cheng Yi's career these days, and kiwis are also very active. I don't think Cheng Yi will take this project. There are rumours that a lot of producers have their eyes on Cheng Yi because of his rising popularity and acting skills.
I guess he'd prefer to choose the projects that are more suitable for him than this risky role.

My first comment was so long that I decided to put it in the review section. In terms of story and acting, this drama exceeded my expectations. Although I wanted more screentime for the main leads, episode 15 made up for that. I'm glad I discovered Donut in this drama. His acting is incredible. Looking forward to his future dramas.

Agree. Donut shined in this role than he was supposed to. Regarding the director of this drama, I even forgot it is the same director for Nang Rai. This is a whole lot better than Nang Rai that they can't be comparable.

True. Cheng Yi is really good so I'll watch his other dramas. But I'll skip this one as I can't stand bad acting although I might put up with a mediocre plot.

Can't agree more. Defending their idol by using another actress's name is a ridiculous and shameful behaviour. I also think that the CP problem of CY and BY happened because of their explosive chemistry. Plus, they have both on-screen and off-screen chemistry. I heard the production team even stopped releasing more BTS clips as there were more and more CP fans. You see. Some people even talk about this CP repeatedly in the argument about another actress's acting. I guess the chemistry of Cheng Yi and Bingyan is so strong that it is etched on people's mind even when these people oppose this ship.

Lol a lot of comments in the Weibo official page for this drama complained about this title when it came out today. Most of them said "There is still time to change the poster and the translation for the title". I also think "my feeling" is more suitable than "my mood".

I heard that rumour too and I was worried at first. But a certain blogger on weibo mentioned that the novel was indeed snatched by Huranrui, and gave one of the main roles to Cheng Yi. But he refused the offer for that drama because his schedule is already tight. It is said that he even recommended one artist for the role that was given to him. I don't know if this is true, but the blogger that leaked the information is considered credible by many people in this circle.

I'm a Mookda's fan, but I really can't stand her acting here. What happened to her? I watched some of her dramas, and she did okay there. But in this drama, her acting becomes very bad that I felt like she can't act at all. Her smiles look fake and she can't look into other people's eyes while arguing with them. I had high expectations for this drama but I had to drop it due to Mookda's acting. Although the plot is mediocre, I want to watch this to see the special bond between the children and their parents. Might come back later when there is nothing else to watch.

Wow. As one comment mentioned, it's surprising how people try to bring Yuan Bingyan's name while talking about Zhang Yuxi. As a drama-watcher, one has the right to criticize the actors and actresses based on their acting skills. That doesn't mean they are petty shippers who can't distinguish between work and real life. I can see some people here are being disrespectful to other people's opinions just because they don't agree with them. For me, I don't really like Zhang Yuxi's acting. I had to drop Intense Love because of her cringey acting although Ding Yuxi did a good job there. Plus, I couldn't sympathize with her character in LAR as the way she portrayed her character was quite annoying. It's a pity she is the main femal lead in this drama. I actually wanted to watch this one because of Cheng Yi.

Agree. Although I'm watching other dramas, I still can't move on from Love and Redemption. This drama will always hold a special place in my heart. I think no other drama will be able to replace this gem. Lol it is ironic that I said the same thing after watching Eternal love. I thought no drama will beat it, but Love and Redemption did. It's now my favourite drama.

I didn't just skip to the end. I've already watched the entire drama and their modern story. Although I skipped many annoying scenes, I watched every episode to know the development of the plot. I never said I wanted to watch two perfect angels because Mary Sues
may end up as boring characters. I had to drop Legend of Fuyao as the ml there was too perfect. Sometimes, it's more interesting to see flawed characters. One main reason I watch flawed characters is to see their character growth. But I didn't see any sign for the character development of the ml, fl and sml in GMP. Their characters got worse and worse, and make poor decisions in the critical situations, especially in the second half of the drama. Plus, I've seen some good dramas that can handle plot complexity, betrayl, and angst very well, but GMP is not one of them. On the other hand, there are three good things about GMP: promising beginning, chemistry between the main leads and Chen Xing Xu's acting. Complexity of the plot and character description were quite poor there. But this is just my opinion.
