Actually, I've been confused as to whether or not I should watch this. I avoid sad endings but your comment is making me give up my idea of skipping the drama.

No matter how popular Xiao Zhan is, they shouldn't exclude Darren who is the actual main lead from promoting the drama. It is really unfair to him. Now, I won't put much hope on this drama anymore. I'll wait until I know the overall story and ending. If Darren was not the main lead or he and Li Qin wouldn't become a couple, I would just skip this drama.

Doppleganger? You mean another guy that looks exactly like Hoshi?This kind of ending is typical in some chinese dramas and I dislike that. I really was anticipating for this drama cuz I like the actress and the plot sounds like W.

Bittersweat and open ending? So the lead couple didn't get together in the end?That was quite an unexpected ending from a Thai drama. I mean almost all the Thai dramas I watched ended happily no matter how the leads had suffered during the entire drama. So I was hoping for the happy ending from this drama too. I guess I'll skip this one if the couple didn't get the ending they deserved.

My interest in this drama fell off when i could not find romance tag here. I was really shipping Li Xian and Li Yitong after knowing about the cast. Well, to my surprise and delight, I've found romance tag here now. Even the slow romance would be fine for me.

I like the two main leads and I don't mind the age difference between the leads as long as they look good together. But I also think it'll be awkard to see Zanilia as a 16 year old girl. They should have chosen another younger actress as you said or changed Zhou Fei's age appropriate for Zanilia.

I became a big fan of Li Xian after started watching this. He looks so cool! The drama is also so sweet. Such a rare treasure with sweet romance, good chemistry between the leads and good-hearted side characters. It's really difficult to find a good modern chinese drama like this. And the relationship between the main couple is so sweet and not boring till the end unlike other dramas. I really want another drama like this with Li Xian and Yang Zi!

Absolutely not. Count me in! I also love watching this drama, not for the romance but for the political issues. I won't say it is free of plot holes and flaws. But it can leave me with expectations for the next episode. Overall, it is a good drama with the nice OST songs.
