- I just finished this nostalgic j-drama and I´m totally captivated by the younger version of Namiki Harumichi…
My favorite scene, without a doubt, has been the letter that Harumichi writes to Yae (ep 9) I´ve cried a lot. Like Harumichi, when I was 17 I fell deeply in love with someone for the first time and even though that person later caused me a lot of pain and disappointment, the love I felt made me want to be a better person, I was just happy and I wanted him to be happy too. I really found a reason to live that made me wake up every morning full of joy and gratitude and, although that happiness did not last long, I don´t regret having felt it. I know all my feelings were genuine and I tried everything but I fell in love with the wrong person.
- I just finished this nostalgic j-drama and I´m totally captivated by the younger version of Namiki Harumichi (Kido Taisei) with his genuine smile. Every time his character appears on the scene, everything lights up. His performance is refreshing, it's been a long time since a character conveyed such tenderness to me.
- To speak in general terms, I´m also captivated by the production, the beautiful songs of Hikaru Utada (and other ost), the photography and some dialogues. The biggest problem, for me, has been connecting the young versions and the adult versions (it felt like separate stories at times).
