Yes, the angst must be next - I was thinking the same thing - why bring on the angst if it isn't necessary? That's why I like J/dramas a lot because they are only 10-11 episodes with very few fillers.
I love the pending romance between the main couple in King but the side couples, no interest for me anyway. Maybe that will change.

Hidden Love has very few side stories and look how successful that is being.

I agree- Hidden Love is exquisite - the smile on the ML's face is precious. I hope to see his future series. The wait is hard.
