Unexpectedly good! I kept shoving it off, for a later watch, not knowing what to expect! But was pleasantly surprised with a really good plot and really good chemistry between the couple!
IMO (Emphasis) In My, really personal, opinion (not here to offend any1 pls) That last epi was a major let down with Zo, the main lead, acting like crap and running away from responsibility and promises towards his partner Joke! Because Joke tried all means to approach him in the beginning of their relationship, even using 1 of their common friend, Zo punished him so bad by keeping his distance and sulking! Now when Zo, himself, distance himself and mistreat Joke during Zo's dad's hospitalization, Joke forgives him right away for cutting him off! From start to finish Zo makes a joke out of Joke's feeling! It's like joke has been carrying the relationship on his own all along! Joke fell in love first, he loved Zo more than anything else, showered him with attention and care! Even at the very end, Joke is still begging Zo for a simple little kiss! When Zo turns up at Joke's house for dinner, and Zo defends Joke from his dad's attack, it was clearly out of guilt for having ignored Joke and for pushing him away the past couple of days! Zo is like a fucking idol and making Joke beg for every scrap of affection that he can have from Zo! I personally, came out of it, a literally traumitised to ever have the unlucky experience of encountering such a selfish specimen of manpower!
Their acting were perfect! I really enjoyed this show! Gu Hai's jealousy is palpable! Incredible! I laugh with them and went on their emotional roller coaster with them! This show doesn't deserve such a low rating! It was a little gem that kept me smiling even hours after the show ended! Specially the kidnapping was hilarious!
First few episodes were fun to watch, until it started with the political intrigue that spoilt everything! It started on a high rating 8.5 for me and dropped with each consecutive episode by 1 level! As from ep. 8 I started to struggle to complete it! It did become complete trash as mentioned by @darkcailbur6.
Where I've reached right now, I don't even want to go watch that last episode after reading all those comments here!
Definitely need the 2nd season, it feels so incomplete right now! The main mind blowing revelation came at the exact ending of ep. 40! Such an awesome drama cannot end with every single character forgetting all about the main lead character, and all that he did for them or how much they loved, respected and cherished him!! Need season 2 !
Seriously!!!! I didn't even watch the trailer for this one!! Thought it was gonna be good! Park Hyo Joo is completely nuts!! Even if she has been played by these 2 others, to go ahead and kill Choo Hye Young and leave Jae ha to report her is completely dumb for a Chem Teacher!! Aren't scientist people suppose to analyze all aspects of everything!!! I maintain my point of view that she is completely mad! A gone case! All that for a teen!! For her own student!! Dumb dumb plot!
There are some loose end that weren't taken care of in Joseon period; like the guy who wanted to kill her at the end. Then she throws herself in the sea in a white morning hanbok and reappears after few days in modern times in a colorful embroided hanbok! Where was she all these days? Why did the flowers had to died, if in fact she wasn't dead yet, for the flowers to be back in full bloom again?? Seriously there are some weird twists at the end that confuse the viewers!
For me the logical ending would have been that she surfaces immediately in the pool water after diving in the sea there! Their meeting is so tepid also! More raw emotions would have been ideal!
In my personal opinion: the last episode was not appropriate! Could have been way better! For me, it really downgraded the show's ratings!
