Review Alchemy of Souls Spoiler
To be fair, from characters' perspective, Jang Uk also gave up his goals and hard work for Yul. The message was…
Also, I mean Naksu was going to take revenge for the death of her family. Then she found out her Dad was a soul shifter ran rampage and killed her family, and that’s why he was killed, which kind of put a hold on her revenge plan till she knew what exactly happened, anyways.

Overrated, as everything, is a subjective view. For me - yeah, 9.0 is a ridiculously high rating. Out of curiosity…
While I can understand some of ur issues, I personally would rate this Drama 9/10 (-0.5 because of inconsistency in intelligence/logical thinking/putting two and two together for a bunch of characters & -0.5 for making it a 2 parter), and I’ve seen a fair share of costume dramas, I found this one to be oddly refreshing.

Since there is no universal rules of rating on mdl, and everyone has their own system, and good majority of people…
For me its just that I probably wouldn’t finish anything under a 6 and I don’t like rating stuff I didn’t actually finish

Review Nevertheless,
Yes thank you, I mean yes there are definitely some problems with this Drama, but I would not go as far as to say it was toxic. The conditions of their relationship were clear from the beginning and once Nabi realised she’s not able to accept that type of relationship anymore she ended it and that’s what it was. Homeboy never did anything Nabi didn’t consent to.

Alright I just checked the first and second EP they seem to only address it as PTSD (应激障碍症) maybe I remembered wrong and they in fact never say anything about DID or they do it later... anyways in that case it’s probably not a subtitle problem but actually a problem with the series in general... but I mean if they never said she has DID that would explain why her illness got weirder and less accurate the longer it went on

Review My Girl
Hey there, just thought I’d let u know, if I remember correctly they did say she has PTSD which then caused her DID which does make a lot of sense since DID is usually also a result from a traumatic experience, in that it often goes hand in hand with PTSD, however I am pretty sure they addressed it as DID when precisely talking about her switching personalities. In that sense the YouTube subs probably did mess up on that part (I didn’t check tho cause I’m lazy, maybe I will later and leave another comment) and I 100% agree that that is very dangerous especially if ppl are watching that don’t know anything about PTSD or DID.

Or let’s not call it cause, but those too definitely go hand in hand most of the time, since DPD is mostly caused…
Two* DID* (sorry my brain malfunctions sometimes)

Actually PTSD is pretty much the number one cause of Dissociative identity disorder. That must have been the only thing that show actually got right (Although I doubt her condition would actually fall under that title).
