Entertaining. The most satisfying short length series i ever watch or the only one i completed. Wow, if this was a full 45 minutes series, i would still willing to watch. Beautiful custome, excellent cgi, handsome actors and villain who delivered her role, yeah so hateful. I like FL the most when she was in badass (and flirty) mode, can't say no to tough and confidence girl. Definitely will look up for season 2.
As much as I like this show, I have to admit that the good part is the first half. The second half, imo, is made…
No, they didn't explain to us why Lu Anran could go back to the past. They made her first life seem just a dream, as Anran said, everything was like a dream. Really disappointing isn't it?Otherwise, it should be that after the antagonist characters death, LAR returns to a changed future and enjoys a happy life with loved ones. But this isn't happening, she's still at the same time, in the past.
I don't know what message they want to delivered to the viewers. Bad guys punished? Yes, but is that all? I see…
I'm not justifying his actions, I'm trying to understand from second life Muze's point of view. The big tree had fallen, he had been crushed and heartbroken. The words I didn't expect would come out of a Muze's mouth especially with Jing Chao's acting skills made me couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
Good characters make such boring drama. I like my drama with conflict and intrigue. IRL (which discerning viewers…
I don't know what message they want to delivered to the viewers. Bad guys punished? Yes, but is that all? I see inconsistency. They tell us that destiny cannot be changed but in the end it does. For the antagonist, MZ has more screen time compared to the MC therefore I see the change in his attitude, but they gave him no spare anyway, how they ended MZ's character is a bit unfair, because MZ paid the so-called revenge which he didn't do or achieved in this second life. That's why I felt heartbroken when he asked Anran why did Anran hate him so much when he treated her sincerely? MZ's way of rebellion is reckless , for someone who is scheming, calculative and manipulative. They make him as brave knight and hero-like in the last scene, and what for? I think they should name this drama as "the fall of a Mu Ze" because only his character will stay in my head for a while.
Most logical ending, each of us might have different interpretation (or hope). I know there's extra episode but i will take this as the last ep, i don't feel the need to watch it.
at the end of ep 26 Muze plans to take Anran to the palace, meet the emperor to prove something to Anran but why in ep 27 doesn't show anything related to the last scene of ep 26, did I miss something? Or was it plot hole? Side note: Xing Fei nails it! I got emotional when she cries her heart out next to heavily injured MC
MZ is a sad character, you can't hate him, he just lacked love
The current MZ is one of the distinguishing factor between the past life and the present life (beside MC). He changed because there was more indepth interaction with MC which of course were orchestrated by LAR. Yes, he lacked of love that's why he doesn't know the right way to love, how to appreciate others. He only knew to gained respect and confidence he must have ultimate power.
Ik MZ is the 2ML but honestly, I feel like MC was more of the 2ML and MZ was the ML because we saw more of him…
I take MZ as ML. We all know ML doesn't always get a good ending or get his love. Plot wise , it is undeniable that MZ will be more exposed than MC. Because this is a story about Anran's penance due to her marriage with MZ, while the existence of MC in her previous life was not even significant.
Ep 26 shows the deepest and hidden emotions of each character... we are almost there, the journey to find answers to all questions.... Aah... Seeing the fragile side of MZ so desperate to see if Anran "cares" for him makes me feel somewhat sad. ..Our girl, anran, had always been good at playing tactics, as we saw in this ep too. Will the ending change? I see MC has now earned the emperor's great trust.
The smart, careful and strategic LAR is back (ep 23-24), wow it was such a dramatic struggle to win MZ's trust and thankfully it was not in vain. And here I will struggle to wait for the next episode to air....hahaha (6 more eps left y'all) Side note: i now fully understand why LAR kept MC in the dark from the beginning.... *sigh* it's about time for him to think straight, step forward and fight.
