I’m watching The Promise for the first time, as it kept popping up on my YouTube channel, and I’m now on the third episode. I’m absolutely loving it and feel that this series is truly underrated.
One thing I am a bit confused about is whether it’s fair to rate or criticize a story that is being told as someone’s true life experience. Can you really speak negatively about how a story is told when it represents a person’s real life and personal truth?
The story follows a young man who falls in love with his best friend and spends many years searching for him. Through that journey, he comes to understand his true feelings and the depth of his love. I’m really enjoying this marathon of The Promise and am looking forward to Season Two.
Holy Crap! You're right! it's only sub to ept. 13! I wasn't even watching the year it came out thinking that it was a new drama! I'm not going to even torture myssel into watching this. Wow! What a waste of work, start subbing and not finishing your work for others to enjoy!

Yong En does not end up with Qi Jun? She ends up with Ting Xuan?
Thank you for your quick responce. In the middle of watching the drama and seen when Yon En gave Qu Jun the slap in the face. I said, heck No she is not going to end up with him. lol I'm going to contuine to watch it since she is going to end up with Qu Jun. I really didn't care for the first ML.

Thank you for your quick responce. The reason why I was asking, in other comments they are stating that they wanted Yong En to end up with the 2nd or 3rd ML That is why I was assuming that Yon En did not end up with Qu Jun. Because I palce him as being the 3rd ML.
I really loved watching Stay by my Side. I I just don't like the ending. I hope that they are working on a Season 2. This is a beautiful BL that I will rewatch again up until the last ending LOL.
never seem a main actress who's more stupid than this one. get tried over and over again and still believes in…
Thank you for the heads up. So, I understand that the FL keeps believing her scum father. I'm on ep 8. I'm going to drop it. I see this as another stressful drama.
