All powerful marquis who hates pork entrails and citrons is obliged to marry a lowly lady butcher after seeing her naked and realising she's actually Princess Lin An.
our life is not something that someone gives you, but something you choose yourself, and you are the one who decides how you live. People are not driven by past causes, but move toward goals that they themselves set. You should arrive at answers on your own, not rely upon what you get from someone else. The important thing is not what one is born with, but what use one makes of that equipment. Unhappiness is something you choose for yourself.
I've got so used to watch dramas in 2x speed but not this one. Quite the opposite, because I'm busy reading the subtitles I end up missing all the scenery and having to pause and come back many times.
Beautiful butcher girl turned stealth ninja saves the day helping the emperor to force all men to be slaughtered in a senseless war so all the oppressed women could live in peace with a few scholars and educated men left behind and finally the dream of become lesbi...I mean real women, free independent and safe from the ugly detestable slavery of staying at home and not being able to pursue a career, diploma or a wonderful nine-to-five job or as a cashier in a Yonghui Superstore.
Needs must ,my dear luciusmaximus and with a nickname like that , I did expect more than this lukewarm curiosity…
Thanks for your contribution. It really amplifiers my knowledge. All our knowledge begins with the senses, proceeds then to the understanding, and ends with reason. There is nothing higher than reason.
I know that saying or asking anything to anyone here currently digesting this drama is an immense task and they just dismiss me as a troll and block me because I have a different opinion - and I know it's also hard to you to understand my subtle comments once you are mesmerized and immersed in the illusion that the drama creates - but I wonder if this kind of entertainment is actually beneficial to you and contributes to your life in general or you don't have a life at all and it just fills the void?
Judging by this comment, emotional depth might not be your thing.
I took my time reading your post, the reason being that there are many ideas in your writings that take as much time to think through as reading Immanuel Kant. Any less effort and I may miss the entire point. There is an innate ego tendency for people to believe that others are just like them. So for people who live in a world of beliefs, it is easy to mistake me by thinking that what I write about are beliefs. I've just created an MDL account to share my thoughts but apparently I am a troll and I have been blocked many times. I'm glad I can have a civilised conversation with you. Thanks for your time and wisdom.

Maybe. But perhaps it's not about seeking emotional depth. It's more about not letting the fear of being disliked inform everything we do. If we spend all our time worrying about making other people like us, we can't focus any of our time or energy on discovering our true selves.
True. I know it's hard to deal with crimes and it's easy to lose your head, that's why the FL is amazingly sensible and she thinks ahead and stops him from going to jail for killing a nobody, while they have a wonderful life together to enjoy.
