Exactly, her expressions are so mature like how come a kid is even understanding the scene enough to bring out such an expression? But, yet, that's exactly what's expected from even kids her age in such a historic period when they are expected to become aware of so much social norms early on. It's just amazing that they were actually able to show that through this kid's performance

Excellent acting.. right from the kid minglan all the way to her dear old grandma. Loved these two especially.
