You are absolutely correct. His facial expression the smugness, pride arrogance etc. the actor is doing a really good job of conveying that. He’s just plain awful

I hate seeing our crown prints going down the slippery slope, first protecting his mother which is wrong, following his father‘s orders which is wrong. He’s getting to the point of no return.
