I felt he hit a roadblock, cause the character of Xiao Yao, and the other 2 lives were too complex, and his expectations was too high. It's like, what's the point of writing an amazing script if no actress can bring it to life. After seeing TSY, I think he was inspired to continue and had confidence that TSY can handle any characters and plotlines. I do think its amazing that the director thought of TSY. With his track record, he could've select any of the traffic stars. This is a testament to TSY's acting and reputation in the industry.

It's from the director's weibo account. Yes, I agree, when I saw TSY in the yellow outfit, I knew she was perfect as the mischievous and clever XY. She also gave me the vibe of Huang Rong (female character from Legend of the Condor Heroes) . I saw a lot of comments of people saying she really could play that part, after seeing her in that yellow outfit. I have a feeling the director saw under the power and go ahead when the idea of casting TSY as XY. 😄

Compared to a year ago on MDL,Go Ahead
added around 20k+ more watchers and still
growing. It could be the influence of the
kdrama remake or Go Ahead is still that good
after 5 years. I like to think Go Ahead is a
drama that continually attracts new viewers
no matter how many years had passed. Either
through a short clip or word of mouth, people
are discovering this gem of a drama. Our girl,
is also receiving a lot of love and more are
seeing what a great actress she is. 👸😍

These past few days, we fans have been fed so well, it had become overwhelming. Magazine covers, variety show, gala, TUS release materials, and upcoming meet and greet and new year's eve performance. I love that we get to see more of TSY, but I'm not used to so much materials all at once. 😆😆

When people come out to criticize TSY, it just means there's good things about to come. Maybe XY is really coming. Now, I saw the recent news that XY has been distributed to YouKu. Once again, haters are gonna say IQiyi has no confidence in XY therefore it needed to sell to another platform, but why does it have to be Youku?!? It's the shittiest when it comes to marketing/promotions. I still have PTSD from Brocade Odyssey. 😣😣

Oh well, I really wanted XY to air exclusively on IQIYI and CCTV8. I don't know how well it'll do on split platforms, and not sure if airing on cctv is even possible this year since cctv's schedules are pretty tight. This is very similar to Flight to You's . On IQiYi platform, distibute to Tencent, aired on CCTV8 end of December, and achieved great results. Pray XY will be like that with greater results. 🤞🤞

To clarify, her "concert" is more of a meet and greet for her fans. It's held in a small venue with a capacity of 800-1000 seats. Haters are saying she doesn't have any dramas to film so she's switching to singing to generate income. Oh please! Money from the ticket sales doesn't even come close to the money TSY had donated to Hong Kong's fire relief. She's doing this to fulfill her promise to her fans who wanted to see her sing, and thank them for their support through the years. Seriously, I'm so jealous of the fans who will get to see TSY up close and hear her sing.

Probably not true. The drama is male centric with Wang An Yu and Zhang Songwen as the leads. If its true, most likely will be a cameo.

It's not a movie, it's a CCTV period drama slated for 30 episodes. It is a male centric drama with Wang An Yu and Zhang Songwen(breakout star of The Knockout) as leads. The Synopsis does not mention of any female lead, so I don't know what role there will be for TSY. If it's true, I think its likely a cameo/guest role as a favor for the director.

Chinese title change. Literal translation "Me and my Fate" changed to "My mountains and sea". I kinda liked the old name. All that filming, and they cut it to 30 episodes. Maybe its best they cut out all the filler scenes and give us better content. I find Cdrama to be way too long, especially a period drama.

I saw! I fell asleep waiting all night for her November schedule to come out cause I wanted to see if it aligned with HMH's schedule. And it did! So excited, fingers crossed it'll be Hi6. They were also rumored for that musical variety show too. I also wonder what variety TSY has for the 6th.
