Yeah, I'm not trying to discredit peoples opinions, I'm just saying I don't understand it. There's only been like 2 or 3 dramas that I've seen that I can understand why people would have SLS, even though I didn't get it. And Sun Woo just doesn't hit me as a worthy case, I was just barely able to tolerate him at the end, and yes I pitied him at some point but I won't say why because I don't want to spoil the story for you :) on the other hand, I hope you enjoy this Drama! It's one of my most favorites :)

To you who are planning on dropping this Drama in the first few episodes because you cannot stand the FL, please don't. She's a jerk in the beginning, but she becomes so much better after the first 6-8 Episodes, just endure through that, and you may end up loving her and this Drama as much as me!

I don't get the SLS some people get from this. There's literally nothing between Lee Dam and Sun Woo other than a fake string of fate, him being an annoying pain in the ass that can't take a hint, and her literally telling him to f**K off a million times.

Yes, there is. But it's totally worth watching. I'm not much into E-sports myself, but The story around the e-sports and the romance is really good. One of my favorite couples, they are really cute:)

OMG, yes, I agree with you 100%. Their relationship is literally the Def of toxic, especially in Soo Ji's part, I hate her, shes the epitome of a selfish bitch with Mommy issues, and from my perspective, she's more obsessed with the idea of owning Shi Hyun than loving him, she just hates the fact that someone else has him when she's always had him to herself, and that he loves Tae Hee more than he did her, in a romantic way that is, it's her own fault for not stepping up sooner. Every episode she gets worse, I ligit want to bitch slap her. I wish Se Joo didn't love her, he's too good for her. I wish her and her horrible Mother would be thrown into prison. And I also agree about the MC, they had great chemistry and I loved their moments together. I don't understand why people hate on Joy's acting, I think she did a wonderful Job. I don't understand why people hate on idols acting in general. It annoys me.

I don't get that. Soo Ji is a bitch the entire drama. Their friendship is completely toxic. And ML was a terrible dislikeable person until he met the FL, and Soo Ji makes him worse.

I think Joy's acting is just fine.

That's still a sad ending for her. She loses the man she loves.

You should finish it. It really picks back up around Episode 11 or 12, and gets so good. And it also starts to focus more on the romance.

I definitely recommend watching it. It is a little slow during the middle Episodes but then it gets so good. So in the end they fix all the problems, defete the villan and they end up traveling through time and all the parallel world's together. It's beautiful :)

Yes well, he's broken, and an unreasonable person that doesn't act rational. All he saw was that she had loved so one else, someone that he hated at that. All he wanted was for her to stand by his side no matter what, but she wanted to leave, and get married to someone else. understandably, because her life at the palace was miserable and toxic, and like she said they would have grown to resent each other. I'm not saying that he wasn't an idiot, or didn't make bad decisions, and I wanted to slap him for not listening to her and for other various reasons. I'm just saying Wook is not a better person for Soo, he literally would have watched her die because he's a coward and isn't man enough to stick up for his woman, and so he loses her - and that So is reasonablely messed up. That's the point of the story, it's not a story with perfect people, it shows the mistakes of people, how Jealousy and greed can turn you into a monster, and that people are the way they are for a reason. Soo changed So in so many ways. Before she went there she read his history and he was a horrible person, that killed his brother's for the throne and was a terrible king. She saved him, and he became a good king. Also, for you to say that all the things Wook did was for So, ha, yeah, what did he do?Nothing that would help or save her. I'm sorry, I wouldn't want the person I love doing shitty things and making the excuse that it was "for me." At least So didn't pretend to be something he wasn't.
