Why care about the victims when you can write long essays about how it sucks for the perpetrators that people…
I hope you are not being sarcastic. This is a serious matter. I and everyone here care about the victims. I can never imagine the pain she and her loved ones went through and maybe still going through . I hope she finds peace and happiness.

I am just stating another side of the coin. Mostly every comments here bashing the guy and reminding everyone his past misdeeds and avoiding his livelihood. Even though everyone here has good intentions but these comments can also backfire and may harm innocent in the process. If there is even 1% possibility of such then we should be careful about our words.

I am not saying we can't discuss about the issue. But the discussion can be without any personal attack.
"Should there be a civil settlement in case of rape?"
"Should intention of both victim and perpetrator be a matter in rape?"."what about the third party?" "What should be the punishment for rape"? things like that.

But there is a place for everything. If this guy is vegetable vendor and had a civil settlement with the victim will you go to the market and shout in front of everyone "Look everyone! here is a rapist, I am gonna avoid him, he disgust me, We all should avoid him."  If you do that police will come and arrest you.

I am not taking side with any criminal. My main point is that we make sure there is no innocent  getting harmed in the process of finding justice . We can't really fix one wrong by doing another wrong.

I hope you understand my point of view. I also do understand that powerful people are getting away doing wrong stuff. Specifically when it is against women. The solution here is to go outside have a discussion with criminology expert and specialized scholars. Have a talk with the victims and the perpetrator. Talk with the legislator and elect those legislators who will help to make laws so powerful people who committed any crime won't be able to getaway. I know this not perfect. This will take time and will be hard. But this way we can make sure we aren't taking justice in our own hands.

I am not watching this drama or haven't watched any ML drama either. But reading most of the discussions towards the ML allegations/scandal instead of related to this drama  I thought to share a opinion. These are just my opinions.

I worked as a lawyer for couple of years and saw all kinds of criminal. After the punishment is over or allegation is not proof beyond reasonable doubt it's necessary to give people a chance to start over. Hate the crime not the criminal that's how the maxim goes. It is necessary not to shun them. If a criminal punishment is over but we always remind him of his crime or avoid him or become obstacle to his livelihood he will never get a chance to be a better person.

I know law is not perfect nor is human. We change everyday even if it's a little bit. The ML maybe a person of bad character but none of us know him personally we read news or maybe see some interviews and afterwards some of us come here and remind everyone his past misdeeds.

Just giving you a scenario, if the ML comes here and sees one of the discussion about his past allegation/Scandal. After reading those he falls into depression because all along he is just trying his best to be a better person. So he thinks there is no chance for him and commits suicide will any of you take responsibility for that?

Maybe then some of you will think Justice has been served but again it is pretty hard to decide without knowing everything or hearing every side of the story what is Justice. It is also not our job decide Justice.

Maybe some of will think "man! it was just a comment" but that's how it starts. One comment after another. All of these contributes to final moment.

It can be not even related to this ML. Think about if there maybe other actor/actresses or any people who are hoping for a second chance but come here see all of us discussing past misdeeds instead of critiquing his/her present work. They will think there is no hope for them in the future.

Even if it is justice in case of this ML, to serve this one justice how many injustice we've done in the process we can never know. So I think it is necessary we become careful what we say.

did Jung Won and Song Hwa have any screen time together in the latest episodes? Someone mentioned they don't have any screen time together separately and maybe there will be surprise later.

Kind of a cliche. Cheating wife. Divorced couple. Child custody. Drama with children. Female lead too good and saying sorry without knowing whether it is her fault or not. Slow moving camera shot and snow.

Cold and detached male, Adorable and bubbly female. But when ML meets FL, he Wooed by her many charm. Even the description here is screaming cliche :)

story doesn't make sense. What is going on here? ML is a cat given by the 2 ML to FL then that cat is also human but 2ML didn't keep his promise to FL to meet up because She abandoned the cat/scarf. What is the Cat/human thing? Is he born in a lab or Is there a secret cat organization who can transform to human? Hope writer first solves the Cat/human question
instead of the 2 ML and his obsession over a scarf or is it a cat? :))

I think I am getting too old for these kinds of rom-com where two good looking people meet each other and for no reason at all other then they are good looking, maybe have some cute/funny moments together and they are in love. Also cliché like Childhood/previous encounter, Second female lead who is beautiful and successful but for the love of God can't let go of the male lead and have a decent life which just doesn't make any sense. When I was watching the first couple of episodes I was thinkinging what it will be like if the guy or the girl is not beautiful in societies conventional manner. But hey 9 out of 10 ratings, a lot of people must be enjoying it.

a couple of soundtracks of this series is so similar to "Memoirs of a Geisha" movie soundtrack. I am not sure whether I can call it music plagiarism or not. It's like the composer of this series only stole the first couple of lines from a piece then changed at the middle or end. For example, Episode 12 the music played at 21 minutes is similar to the Score "Going to School" From "Memoirs of a Geisha" movie.

This is pretty sad. I am not a follower nor fan of KPop. From my experince what I've read and seen from the internet about K-Pop and korean industry, Most of the celebs come to the industry at a very early age and they don't have the ability to grow up in a normal life where they can acquire some mental toughness and can understand that the world is not just rainbow and sunshine. A person can never go to the top position whichever industry he/she works without ruffling some feathers. It is normal a lot of people will feel envy towards these celebrities and bully them. It should't be like that but life is not fair.

Most of these k Popstars start at an early age of like 16, 17 or 18. The agency they belong to not good either. All these agencies exploit these teens and earn a lot of money. These agencies treat them like some kind of farm animal. After all the hard work these celebrities don't even earn that much.

I am not suicidal nor famous so I don't understand their mental state. But I wish the Korean legal system could make some law about the exploitation of these teens. Even parents are not better. They also think this may be the best for their children. They will have all the fame. But fame always come with a price. I am ranting a bit and just writing my thought. I am angry and fustrated. Like why why do you do that. If you are tired of living for yourself live for others. There are wars going on in various countries, People becoming homeless, children becoming orphans, Not to mention various incurable diseases or natural disasters. Life is priceless.

I think so far Liu Hao Ran’s leading ladies are all very annoying. I usually always like them in the beginning…
I feel totally opposite about Yu Ran. To me her acting is below mediocre. Also it doesn't help that her character is a cliché and poorly written.

I'll give one example why I think that-
The way she looks at Ji Ye(her lover) and Asule(her friend) is the same. She doesn't convey different emotion for different person.
Spoiler: ......[The way she was crying when Asule was dying It seemed to me that she was losing her lover not a friend.] spoiler end.

Just crying and screaming is not acting. You can ask anyone to cry infront of a camera he/she will be able cry without much effort and if he/she is pretty/innocent looking viewers will feel sad anyway.
But if you ask someone to cry for a lover and cry for a friend that's where the acting part comes. A better actress will show different emotion in these two scenes and viewers will be able to tell which one is which without necessity of any dialogue.

These are just my opinion nothing more. I liked first couple of episodes.
I totally agree with you about the story. How come they spent so much in visual/cinematography and not care about well written/structured story. Isn't it suppose to be the most important? It just boggles my mind.

I am having a hard time buying three main lead's friendship. Even though it seems to be the Director and writer are trying to show that their friendship is all pure/innocent and want us to remember it fondly.

Friendship is such a beautiful thing.
But if you look at this trio Asule likes Yu Ran. She is also his wife. But she doesn't care about Asule in that way or respect the marriage. She likes Ji Ye. Ji Ye also likes Yu Ran but he sometimes feels envy towards them. What they have for each is not pure or innocent at all.

It doesn't need other people's contribution or a war to destroy what they have for each other. It's a doomed relationship and eventually, it will fail.

I was wondering that too. I love her character, however, is there any other bigger rolefor her in the storyline?…
As of right now I don't think he is romantically interested in the princess.

That would be badass but it will be 180 turns for Yu Ran's character. if I am not mistaken she said in very beginning her dream is to marry the person she loves and doesn't care about the people(her tribe) she never met like her aunt is doing at this moment.
IMO Even if she becomes badass(I wish she does) in the future it will need a time jump of 2 to 3 years (similar to Asule and how he forgave his father) and also make decisions which don't revolve around Ji Ye or Asule.
Right now, I wonder what she does in her spare time. Our main two leads and other characters have their power struggle and goals that they strive for. She doesn't have to work to earn money or anything :P

What is the purpose of Yu Ran in the story other than being a naive cute girl and a triangle between two leads? Till now(episode 27) most of her character progression(which is not much) from the very start all have revolved around Ji Ye. In the book does she have any character arc which is not related to her love for Ji Ye?
